DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY. Rude members of staff, terrible phone etiquette. Was hung up on, had my calls declined and they refused to talk when I called to complain. Got my car back and there was muddy work boot footprints left in both the drivers AND the passenger side. I called to ask why there had been a passenger in my car and they couldn’t answer. Upon inspection, my car had clearly been rummaged through, as all the compartments were left open and things had been put back in the wrong place. They also used the phone charging cable, as it was taken out of one of the compartments and plugged in. There was also rubbish left in the passenger seat of my car and the aftershave left in my car was used and discarded on the floor. I was charged extra upon arrival and departure. There were also no checks that I was the owner of the car when getting it back, they would’ve just given it to the first person that said they owned it! Disgusting service. Don’t waste your time or money on these thieves.
Never use these people. Car came back very dirty and with writing on the windscreen. Although we took off from North terminal, came back into South but called, as requested, once in baggage reclaim and was told it would take 40minutes to deliver the car as it was a different terminal to where we had booked. After 50, we called them to be advised it had been taken to North terminal anyway! A further 10 minutes before it arrived. Also, as they deliver it back to a car park, you have to pay the fee to get out. The man that delivered it had no apologies and just said that lots of people had complained. It was 3am and we were shattered so expected them to be on time. Reading the small print on their collection leaflet, it said if your flight is delayed, it can take 2-3 hours for them to bring you your car! Shocking service and they seemed not to be bothered. Cowboys!
Great service when dropping off the car. However, when collecting it on our return we waited over 1 half hr for our car to come. They lied to us about where our car was the whole time. The guy on the phone Customer Support spoke to us like trash and hung up numerous amount of times. Would never go back nor recommend to anyone.
Worst possible service. DO NOT USE THIS BUNCH OF THIEVES! Collected the car and there were several scratches on both doors. The driver literally run away when I showed him the scratches. I had a 3 months baby with me and couldn't stop him. Contacted customer service several times. After three months I still haven't had a reply. On top of this they smoked inside my car and I found two cigarettes butts on the floor. Pathetic service. Shame on "compare the parking" as well to let those thieves operate on their website. I've also contacted Gatwick Airport and they confirmed the fact that this company is a total scam.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Used them for meet and greet service. Our brand new car came back damaged. We had photographic evidence from car camera that they caused the damage. We have tried to complain and claim compensation but are continuously fobbed off and give false names and invalid phone numbers. Since this happened I have joined a group which is just members hat have had the same thing happen to them with this company. Some have even taken them to court and have Ccjs against this company. I so not know how they are allowed to still operate. Some people have had their cars returned with thousands of pounds of damage. Ours was a couple of hundred so I suppose we can think ourselves lucky. We have started the process to take them to a small claims court but I am not holding my breath. And apparently trading standards won't do anything so just need to get it out there to the public NOT to use this company.
When I booked the service I made a mistake and an extra 3 days because I had forgotten what day I was returning to the UK. However, I did try to rectify this mistake a week before departing on my holiday and was told on the phone "the date doesn't need to be changed, just ring when you have collected your bags and it won't be a problem to get your car with you within 20-30minutes". When I was waiting outside the South terminal of Gatwick, at 02:52am, I called the number that you had provided and was told "there has been a mix up and you're not on my list, I'll ring you back in 10-15minutes to update you". No update came. I waited 25 minutes before ringing the number again and this is when I got told "this is your fault because you got the date wrong for returning when booking, your car is behind 15 others and the yard manager isn't here to move them at the moment but you will definitely have your car in 30 minutes" I then proceeded in explaining what I had been told on the phone above and got abruptly told "there's no way anyone would have said that" and then the man put the phone down on me. I then waited another 35 minutes to get the call to go up to Orange car park level 4 because my car was here but again no update came. So I called again and asked to be updated to whether the yard manager had been able to get my car out. However, I was treated very poorly at this point by your operative and was told "your car isn't just a toy I can't just pick it up and put it in front of you!" and that "I shouldn't have made a mistake in the first place, there's no way you got told that on the phone when trying to change the date you must being lying! Your car will be with you within the next 30 minutes don't call again!" and then for the second time the phone was put down on me. I waited from 02:52am until 04:15am to eventually receive my vehicle back and with no sort of apology for the delay or confusion from the man on the phone. However when I told the driver how I had been treated he himself was shocked by the service. Not even worth a star! Never use this company.
Do not use this company! I wish I had read some of these reviews before using them. Firstly, I called as instructed 25 minutes prior to arrival at the airport but still waited another 35 mins for the driver to arrive, leaving me stressed before a long haul flight. Zero care or apology shown. It’s supposed to be meet and greet! Then on arrival back, I found my in car charger, which i’d left plugged in, missing and my work parking permit ripped off the windscreen. I immediately called to report this and was assured they’d look in to it and would either find it and if unable to, replace it. I called almost every day for a week getting no where, until finally someone gave me an email address. Received a reply saying items are left at owners own risk and offering me 15% off next time! Why on earth would I ever use this company again? They’re at the least incompetent, at worst crooks!
Zero Stars. They took 40 minutes to bring the car, gave me the keys and hurried off. The battery was flat as they had left something on while we were away. It took another two hours for them to get the people from the car park to jump start it. Then their customer service department denied any responsibility for the oil leak they have too many complaints to even tell them apart any more and kept citing that they took no responsibility for mechanical problems. They didnt mention awful, slow and unprofessional service. Another customer had big scratches on his brand new car. For £15 they could have resolved it - even their employee who helped said they should. I would recommend not using them under any circumstances and check that you do not end up with Parking Direct whatever booking agent you choose.
I wished we had read the reviews before we booked with them. Dropping off was ok, but collecting our car was a nightmare. We waited for 2.5 hours for them to bring the car back to us and had our young daughter and her friend with us. We then got stuck in traffic on the way back as it was now the rush hour. We landed at 3 and didn't get home until 7.30, we only live 30 minutes away from Gatwick. I would never recommend them and will stick with purple parking in the future who we usually use. That's what happens for trying to save some money
Absolutely dire service. Please steer clear. We ordered the meet and greet service from Gatwick South. Had to wait 40 minutes for them to pick up the car and this was after several phone calls in which we were fobbed off. Then when they collected a car, not even an apology. The worst thing is to watch the very small print. We were scheduled to arrive back at 23:45. Due to delays we arrived back at 01:00 and we were charged an extra £10 for the delay. Do not, I repeat do not book with these amateurs.
