For a car park this is fairly good. Lighting is good but oh dear lord is it expensive. Obviously it's because it's in the centre of town and right by the theatres. You have to queue when you leave the theatre and when there's hundreds of people all trying to do the same thingpay for parking it can be a bit of a nightmare. So once you've paid to get out you have to queue in the car to get out onto the busy road. The convenience of the car park is by far the most positive part of it.
Would recommend for theatre royal and Brighton centre or,Brighton Dome,you have plenty of space,the best car wash valeting inside of the car park,but get the NCP app to avoid queues on exit and pay less.
Junkies shooting up, thieves, homeless and drunks sleeping rough are a pretty much daily occurrence, constantly leaking in the rain - water dripping in the stairwells, large puddles of water regularly form at the main entrance that you have to walk through. Unclean, scant security - and a 20% price hike last week to add insult to injury - the owners have clearly been doing far less than the bare minimum to rake in the profits without any regard for their customers - I wish the council would order them to bring to a satisfactory standard - a real shambles - gets away with it only because of the excellent central location - not recommended
Eye wateringly expensive and an incredibly confusing app which you're meant to download before parking. How's that meant to work? You generally don't plan your parking in advance when visiting a new town! Even gaining access to the car park afterwards to collect the car was a challenge - you're meant to swipe some QR code to get back into the building. Needless to say this didn't work, but we were lucky to be able to get back in as someone else left.nnI've made a point NEVER to use NCP parking again. Given the charges would almost be cheaper to park on a double yellow line and pay the fine.
Very expensive but that's Brighton for you. £20 for 3hrs. At least the spaces were wide enough so you could get out of the car
