One of the best horse riding experiences I've ever had. My partner and her daughter came with me this week for an hours ride. All novice beginners with some experience but in the past. Arrived to a friendly warm welcome, made to feel totally at ease, horses really well looked after and the whole experience was fantastic. Had a great ride on Exmoor tracks and now keen to ride more. Can't thank them enough for a great day. Highly recommend these riding stables. Hope to see you again soon.
I took two teenage friends, one who could ride and one who could not, to this stables. The staff were lovely, kind and helpful, and both girls really enjoyed their ride. The horses were really nice and well cared for and the scenery was beautiful. I highly recommend this stables.nNew Mill Cottage is a wonderful place to stay. The setting is so peaceful and calm. The cottage is beautifully appointed and very comfortable. An amazing place to rest and enjoy.
Friendly and experienced we were welcomed and matched to horses suitable for our size and level of experience. Great confidence boost for a nervous returner to riding! Lovely location, no road work needed for our hour ride on farm tracks. Would definitely recommend , thank you :
Had a great weekend staying in the granary cottage and riding out twice. Very friendly owners and staff who looked after us and made us feel really at home. The cottage was of a very high standard and very well equipped. The riding was fabulous, gorgeous scenery, lovely horses and very professionally run. We felt we were in very safe hands whilst also going at a pace that was chosen for us perfectly. Can't praise enough. I am booking my next stay immediately.
Great place for a horse trek with the family.nThe owners are some of the most lovely people you could meet & had great knowledge of the area & history of the surroundings. We really enjoyed out on the horses & we will definitely return if we are in the area again. I must say a huge thank you for pulling our Golf out of the side verge that we got stuck in with his tractor, a true gent & a huge thank you everything making our day such a lovely day.
