The Lynhurst

Lovely property, suitable for large groups (we had 18 adults and 4 children), with wonderful views and great facilities. The rooms are all clean and tidy, and whilst the property may be a little old, it's certainly warm and well maintained. The showers aren't exactly commodious nor are they powerful, but there is plenty of hot water and again they are clean and tidy. Very comfy beds and having 2 large reception rooms meant there was always space. The kitchen and dining area are equally superb! I would recommend to any one this fabulous location. One word of caution, don't bother trying to park at the house, it's very tricky! Use the public car park (£5 for the day) to ensure peace of mind and just a little trek to the house.

A stunning large holiday home in a tranquil cliff sea view setting, Please find out for yourself how beautiful this place really is! Our family loved our stay here with Jane who does her best to please large group stay's.

I personally found the Lynhurst to be an absolute delight, a beautiful victorian property cut into the rock face with breathtaking elevated views across Lynmouth and the surrounding hills. The owner was very helpful, and gave some good recommendations for local restaurant's/pubs which were well worth a visit and took alot of the guess work out of what to do everyone for dinner. The rooms were clean and most benefited from the amazing views and most had en suite facilities which added to our experience a large well equipped kitchen and large dining room catered for all our requirements and two good size barbecues, well proportioned patio and large garden to the side of the property gave us a fabulous place to cook and enjoy our evenings! Truly a stunning, underrated gem set in some of the most spectacular country side I have ever seen! We will be re booking soon!
