I went here for my wife’s birthday and was so happy. The food was exceptional and the service wonderful. They have us some extra sweet treats for the birthday too.Food: 5/5
One of our best experiences in London. We would say top 5. The food was divine, we went for the pescatarian menu. They change their menu often. The ambience is really cozy, quiet and nice decor. Nice selection of paintings. It’s definitely a place if you like art. The staff were very friendly, polite, and really treated me and my guests very well. It was my birthday and they provided the best atmosphere we could have. Definitely we will return and highly recommend Ormer. When you choose a place more refined like this one you really expect everything sparkling and perfect. I am quite picky with places and I couldn’t find one single fault. I would suggest just a piano as background, apart of that, this experience was perfect.
Had a lovely bday dinner with my friend last night - food and wine were so good and we went overboard with the cheese course too don’t get the stinking bishop cheese though it’s awful fave course was the lamb. Cooked to perfection and of course as always love the canapés in the beginner especially the duck liver parfait!Food: 5/5
From the moment we stepped into the elegant ambiance of Omer Restaurant in Mayfair, we knew we were in for an extraordinary evening. The private event was nothing short of spectacular, with every detail meticulously curated to offer an unparalleled dining experience. The customer service was beyond outstanding; the staff were attentive, professional, and truly went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. As for the food, it was a culinary masterpiece. Each dish was a revelation of flavors, beautifully presented and crafted with the utmost care. The ingredients were fresh, the seasoning was perfect, and the creativity behind each course left us in awe. It's not just a meal; it's an artistic expression that tantalizes the taste buds and leaves you yearning for more. Omer Restaurant has set a new standard for fine dining in Mayfair. It's an establishment that doesn't just serve food but celebrates it, creating memorable experiences that linger long after the last bite. A must-visit for anyone seeking gastronomic excellence.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Ormer and it was a truly wonderful experience. From the moment I walked through the doors, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, with soft lighting and chic decor. The attention to detail in service was outstanding throughout the night. The menu was a perfect balance of creative and delicious - every bite was pure bliss! The recommendations from our waiter and sommelier were spot-on, and their knowledge of both the menu and the wine list was impressive. Whether you're a foodie looking for creative dishes or simply seeking a meal somewhere special, this place is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be returning soon!
We dined at Ormer on the first night of a 5 day trip to London in January 2024 and it was a great start. The staff were friendly, very helpful and happy to chat between courses about our thoughts on the food. Each course was delicious and packed with flavour. From the generous canapes, deconstructed Waldorf salad opener, stunningly light barley brioche, richly flavoured warm Iberico ham jelly, via the cured mackerel, impressive 2 dish pigeon followed by the brown butter and chocolate dessert, right down to the petit fours we enjoyed the lot! The flavours were all distinct yet blended well. At the end of the meal we were given another petit four to take away plus a small signed and dated copy of the menu to keep- a lovely extra touch and something which just added to the experience. We'll definitely return the next time we're in London!
Very unique dishes and extremely good service. The side of lamb main course is amazing. Highly recommend.Food: 5/5
The best fine dining experience in London so far. Well deserved Michelin star. I’d say worth 2 Michelin stars. Big shout out to head sommelier Peter for exceptional prestige wine pairing which it is huge contribution to chef’s creations on the plate. Cheesemonger Alex had perfectly selected cheeses for us. And most importantly, it was beautiful to watch how the team together delivers top notch service. Well orchestrated place.
This place is simply divine. The scallop for starter, the plaice, the pork belly for mains, the guava sorbet, the chocolate brownie for dessert are all impeccable. If the bread and butter were warm, then it would be absolutely perfect experience. Also, the service was really nice and friendly, and atmosphere was really casual and enjoyable. We had a 3 course meal with a glass of champagne for £37.5 . Definitely will come back for more surprise and recommend to friends who enjoy great food.
Modern British resto which changed my view of British food in such a positive way. The chef has a mixed background and you can tell from the dishes he produces with the team. Surprise after surprise! The dishes kept getting better and better. We had the 8 course meal. Their strawberry dessert was mind blowing. I wish I could eat it every day after every meal. I couldn’t believe how good it was. The chocolate desserts were very yummy too. From a savory perspective, the lobster was incredible, the fried chicken awesome, osobuco superb, oysters yum, and everything else surprisingly delightful. The service was impeccable. Some of the best I’ve ever had. The whole restaurant worked perfectly! An amazing experience! Tips - There is no a la carte, but that’s ok. Have an adventure - The flavors are different and you may not have tasted them before. Keep your mind open ; - Cocktails are delish
