Peony is a new, intimate and exclusive space which promises to be one of London’s most exciting openings this year. Nestled deep within the labyrinthine Opium, Peony infuses refined elegance with eccentric charm. Exceptionally crafted cocktails are the order of the evening with an intriguing array of shared libations to be enjoyed alongside a selection of handmade Dim Sum. These are delivered with meticulous, yet un-starched customer service.


The Peony flower is held sacred in the heart of all Chinese people. Such is its beauty, it has inspired countless songs, poems, traditions and much folklore. Stunning in all stages of the bloom cycle, its elegance is both respected and revered in Chinese culture. Representing desire and femininity, this exquisite flower was the inspiration behind this bar concept at Opium Chinatown.

Just love this place! Been coming here for years. Best dim sum place in London!
Crazy speakeasy in Chinatown in a good way! The space is narrow, dark, cozy and smoky, cocktails are fine and best of all you can order dim sum overpriced though. Most fun to locate the door to this place. The bouncer at the door is a giveaway
Blinking strong cocktails!!! Personally I'd rather less booze more cocktails, but if you like a generous hand on the spirits, these are the boys. Nice atmosphere and relaxed vibe.
Brilliant atmosphere and decorations! Absolutely loved the cocktails, very creative and refreshing. The place was a little hard to find given the fact it was only a door way with a tiny sign next to it. It's located on the top floor, so be prepared to walk up a lot of stairs, stairway was quite dark at night.
