This is the pub vibe at its best. If you like the corporate pub environment then don't go here! Nicely presented grub and requited brassy barmaid. Have a laugh with your server.
The food is excellent, but twice now I have booked a table for a four of us, and both times we arrive, to find it was't in the book, now we did get a table found for us, but I could'nt have a cup of tea, because the machine was broken, and the other problem, was only two staff behind the bar, so the queue was out the door. So I think a bit of organisation is needed. Yours sincerely Mrs. Wendy Worrall
Just passing, and had there Sunday lunch. Amazing just what your mum would cook. Loads of meat and really plate of food. Thank you . Very cheap also.
Always a great welcome from the staff. Meals are amazing...especially the breakfasts. Parking available outside is a bonus
Never been to a more welcoming place if you are in the area pop in for a pint you will not be disappointed

Good service considering how busy it was before the football,very reasonable prices also!!! Slight disappointment there was only 1 real ale which was doombar!!!
Limited menu. Lovely pub though with river running behind the back garden.
