I have just moved to the area I had to change doctors spoke to the receptionist to ask what I need to do She had a tone with me told me to come in pick a form in so I went in that day spoke to another receptionist their was 2 women sat their & it was an awful atmosphere they both had negative tones I heard 1 speak with an old gentleman while I was waiting for the form I found the receptionist rude to the poor old man. I was then told to show ID which I didn't have but I wasn't told on the phone I needed this. Iv decided to use a different doctors close by which has a nice feel when you walk in and the staff were lovely & very helpful.

Always had good service and staff go out of their way to help.

This used to be a very good practice but has steadily got worse over the past 2 to 3 years. It seems to be run by the receptionists with scant regard for the patents health or needs. On the last two occasions that I needed to see the doctor urgently I was given appointments 5 to 6 weeks away. I could have died by then. I have had to make do with the service from the hospital. I'm also diabetic and even dropping of my requests for repeat prescriptions meets with delays and wrong things sent to the pharmacy. Note. None of these problems are to do with the doctors as, when I eventually get to see one, they are very helpful. This is a service industry for which I pay dearly I really would like to see some service from the reception staff.
