So clearly, there are some mixed reviews below.nHere is mine: I am always smug when anyone complains about a GP because of how lucky my family are to be at Oaklands. We have always been able to get appointments promptly, and I amnAlways amazed at the ability to get appointments on the weekend. I have seen the same group of doctors for years, not random locums. Dre treat you fairly and kindly whilst under immense pressure.nWhilst many of the Dr’s and Nurses could be mentioned individually, i would just like to thank all the staff.nnI don’t think some people realise just how lucky we are to have a such a stable GP service.
Honestly the worst practice I have been too. Genuinely rude and arrogant staff. Which seem like they have better things to do than there job.
Absolute horrible way some receptionists and doctors treat their patients. Disgusting unprofessionell behaviour. Giving Out repeatingly medication patients are allergic to and not listening about problems causing more harm than healing. Shame on you you failed your profession and Bring the rest of the good staff and Patients into serious Trouble. Edit: they dont even do the Basic Things Like checking urine for bacteria or Draw blood. They ignore the patients and let Them get worse, they dont give away appointments to severly sick Patients even If you ask Them multiple Times day after day and ignore their needs. Again shame on you!! This GP should get Into an Investigation by now how uneducated and heartless the doctors are.nnEdith: ongoing trouble with this weaponised incompetent GP. They don't know about existing alternative medications, they can't see an emergency in colics, fever and conctant vomiting and give an appointment in 3 weeks. Until then someone could die of Dehydration or bursting organs. They won their degrees in the lottery. Because of that GP a Lot of people end Up in Hospital because they don't move even a finger when it would be needed.
I think that oaklands is a great surgery the doctors are lovely so are the receptionists ive had no problems at all.... sometimes people for one reason or another take things the wrong way which if you're having a bad and we all have them are blown out of order
The receptionists have an extremely bad attitude. I had a 6pm appointment.. I arrived at 5:50. I was told to wait on the second floor… 1 person before me went in and one person who came after me went in… after another 25 minutes of being sat on my own… there had still been no call for me. I went down to speak with reception who rudely told me that the doctor was calling me in as we speak… so I ran back up stairs… this wasn’t true.. the doctor had still not called me through. So I went back to reception and explained and they had the worst attitude I’ve ever witnessed at a doctors surgery. I’m so shocked at how I was spoken to.nnI’m pulling my son out of this GP and given the other reviews about the receptionists I feel like it’s the right thing to do.nnAbsolutely disgusted !!!!
