Always been greated warmly by the reception and been seen on avarage around 15 mins after my appointment which is great. Doctors have always offered good advice and follow ups. I remember how well these guys delt with social distancing and worked hard during the brunt of Covid. My kids have had many vaccinations here and the nurses/doctors have always had great attitudes towards children. Parking here can be a little cramped but that certainly does not make me want to lower this place to 4 stars.
I have never dealt with such rude reception staff in my life. I understand they are busy but to be spoken to like something off the bottom of their shoes because you need to book an app is beyond me. Not everybody has 30 minutes spare in a morning to sit on a phone call waiting to speak to somebody. Do not recommend this place atall.
I am so disappointed with the service received from the new Doctor at the surgery, I have to say something to warn others. This review is only a 2 star rather than 1 because the reception staff were still great. The Doctor in question, from a telephone callback to the visit in person, was extremely rude, patronising and completely unprofessional in their manner. With my wife and daughter at another Northwich Practice, I see first hand the stark contrast in the service they receive. On the same day as my experience, we had to go twice with my daughter to her Doctor, who was totally professional at all times. Despite the completely unprofessional manner of the Doctor, I may not have been tempted to leave a review on this alone. However, with the near refusal to listen to a patient's problem, I have come away with no solution to my illness and still have to suffer helplessly. Appalling service. Again, apologies to the other Practice staff who get dragged down with a bad review due to this one member of staff, temporary or not, I can only hope so.
Absolutely abysmal service, my wife’s not been right for months and as been just bounced from pillar to post by these, doctors have shipped her to several hospitals in the past few months, diagnosed by doctor with something then hospital said it weren’t that. Had bloods taken at hospital and told the surgery would get back in touch. No reply from doctors even since February. Partner also went in with a infection, took a urine sample three weeks ago and to today heard nothing back. Told wouldn’t need antibiotics and gave her some cream which obviously hasn’t worked. Seriously thinking of changing doctors as these are useless. If I could give a zero I would.
I have been at this surgery since I was born I have known all the Dr's here my whole life,and have known all of the receptionists aswel I have to say that as the years have gone on the surgery has got alot worse and I find the phone calls with the receptionists very rude!!! I know they are busy and have alot to do but when answering a phone and speaking to someone they could show abit more of a phone manner towards people as at the end of the day we are the patients who are clearly ill or needing to just speak to someone about something??? I think they need some training on answering a phone call or just go get a different job???
Absolutely disgusting service from the reception staff at the practice. My husband had organ removal surgery and called to speak to a doctor at 9am as he requires pain relief. 7 and a half hours later still nothing. No help at all and when calling back a rude and unhelpful woman said “well you’re in a queue - we don’t prioritise patients” simply unacceptable. There’s no excuse for bad manners and certainly not the long wait for someone in excruciating pain needing help following invasive surgery
Unhelpful, thoughtless, bordering rude, unapologetic front line staff with little to no empathy. The communication channels are horrendous, with the contact number nearly permanently engaged with a hold queue. It's very difficult to get an appointment within a reasonable time frame. You cannot get results unless you call after 2pm, no matter when the test was taken. It's a shame, this is probably symptomatic of too many patients, the doctors and nurses are always very polite, knowledgeable and highly recommended. When being treated I have always been impressed by the attention and care devoted by the doctor/nurse and particularly with my two very young children.
I've been registered here since birth in 1969 , 52 years! Perhaps I am more qualified than most to comment and I find the whole service perfect. Extremely helpful and friendly reception staff and Dr Kilby is far and away the most reassuring and competent health professional I have ever seen.
Had a really bad chest infection after a cold, Practise nurse phoned me, refused me Antibiotics saying I don’t need them ?? I’ve not been seen by her or anybody else at Surgery. Not had a full nights sleep for last 5 nights because of coughing!! Have a persistent cough contact your Doctor they say !!! Still told don’t need Antibiotics Oh wait a minute she says maybe you do need Antibiotics and an Inhaler and a sick note as I’ve already been off 10 days and I work in a Care home with vulnerable residents Next time maybe I will get to speak to the doctor not his helper Sheila Finney
Never had a problem with this surgery. The reception staff have always been friendly and helpful. GPs are always happy to listen to you and give good advice. Been with them for 18 years now so I've seen quite a few new faces and a new extension.
