I can’t even begin to explain how impressed I was with the customer service in store I had yesterday! I was one of those very awkward customers that needed a lot of help and advice for a new phone and changing over accounts and Abs and Tim were extremely helpful and friendly, they answered all questions that I needed to know, helped me get my phone to a price much cheaper than EE was giving me, I’ve now moved over from EE to O2 and I’m already very happy with my decision They even spoke quieter when my little one had fallen asleep which I thought was extremely respectful I appreciated all their help and support and couldn’t be more grateful :

What can I say other than absolutely fabulous service. Matt and the team were brilliant and helped us purchase a new phone, for not much more than we were already paying, set ghem both up for us and transferred all our info. The team here were absolutely brilliant setting up a new phone for my Mum. They really went the extra mile, and were calm, friendly and professional throughout. Highly recommended.
I was sold insurance, however when I needed to use it 10 months later it turns out they had lied about the policy and the phone would not be replaced the next day employee has since been fired for miss-selling, they had no power to do anything in store, so I had to complain to their head office. I am still waiting for a reply 11 days later. For £12.50 a month and £60 excess for the the insurance alone I'd expect better service than a week turnaround. I'd have hoped that once they found out their was an issue with the employee they would contact people he had sold to, to let them know...instead of brushing it under the carpet and hoping for the best or at least give the store power to help customers.
Disappointed!!. After the service I had in this store I left a good report, the staff were friendly and helpful and I "thought" they'd done a good job. Not so. They completely cocked up switching my account from personal to business on my new phone, apparently going all around the houses when there was a far more straightforward route to save my original number. Spent ages in the shop too. Leaves me thinking they really don't know what they're doing. So after giving up with phoning the shop, following their advice, getting nowhere, I finally had to contact o2 customer services, it's still going to be another 48 hours making a week in total before I can use my phone with the correct number! Not happy!!! Won't be returning to the Sutton branch!!
Always very helpful and knowledgeable staff. But today my wife and daughter went to get their new phones set up , one an upgrade and one bought privately only to be told that in sutton coldfield o2 shop they were not touching customers phones and that they could not help them set their phones up. WHY OPEN YOUR PHONE SHOP IF YOU'RE NOT GOING TO TOUCH YOUR CUSTOMERS PHONES ? they should offer to talk them through it and they could of set them up themselves .but this was not offered So next upgrade I think the whole family will be looking to move to another network.
Went in last week to upgrade my phone...went through details of tariff I want but was told I had to wait about a week for it as it weren't in stock...fine fair enough. Had a text from o2 today to say phone is ready to collect. I thought great I'll do this after work. I went to the store today to collect, I was served by some dozy assistant. He sat me down and took my details. Asked me 2 digits from my password...the first time he miss hears me, second time said details I gave didn't match. He then asked me for my bill acct details. I gave him my debit card to take down the info then for some stupid reason this blocks my O2 acc as he must have taken my card details down incorrectly! Then he tells me he can't do anything further for 2 hours...in 2 hrs time the shop will be bloody closed!! I was so angry, I just walked out the shop. So now I have to go back to this shop yet again at some point to attempt to collect the my new phone! I never had this trouble when I upgraded with carphone warehouse!!
