We stayed for one night this week in the "garden Room" after checking past reviews thought why not, the garden Room smelt a little foisty, it was fairly clean and comfortable apart from the bathroom where the sealant around the bath was a bit grubby, the bath mat was not very clean and the toilet brush was filthy, when I showered a puddle appeared in the corner at the side of the bath ?? The breakfast was rather nice though, overall it wasn't a brilliant visit and I'm astounded as to why some folk gave it 5/5.
Absolutely loved our stay. The room was so homely and the food was unreal! . The customer care was fantastic and the owners was so courteous and friendly. We will definitely be back. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
The owners are paranoid Italians, who constantly retreat to the kitchen to talk about their guests in Italian. Then, they communicate with you via email instead of in person whilst you are still staying in their house above their kitchen and give strange travel advice about places in the UK "do not visit Blackpool". Addendum: I have since gotten married, thank you. You are clearly still a delusionally paranoid person and people would do well to stay away from you. You are a dangerous individual, who fantasises about damage you likely caused yourself, and are in no position to run a guest house. I wish you all the best for your mental health, I truly do.
Welcomed by friendly hosts who were easy company. We stayed in The Garden Room, which is separate to the house and very peaceful and comfortable, with its own access into the town. Breakfast is very organised and the quality and quantity of the food excellent. Would definately recommend this place. Ian RossRooms: 5/5

Hosts and accommodation were perfect. Attention to detail and cleanliness faultless. We stayed here on our Wedding night and Glenda and Daniele ensured that everything was just right. The garden is gorgeous and the Garden Room magical. The breakfast was delicious. Perfect start to our married life!Rooms: 5/5

We had a fantastic 1 night stay at Homelands Guest House whilst attending a wedding at Bowes Museum, which is a 5min walk away. The owners Glenda and Daniele were very helpful prior to our arrival with arranging our earlier check-in and they were exceptionally welcoming to my husband and I whilst we were there. The room room 2 was spacious and comfortable and had many nice touches, for example fresh cake on arrival and nice 'White Company' products. Breakfast was very good, with an extensive choice. I highly recommend staying here if you are in the area.
Very well-appointed, Glenda was welcoming and attentive. We had the garden room which was secluded and comfortable. Tasty cooked breakfast with lots of choice. Would definitely recommend it and would happily stay again - it's in a great location, just a short walk from the town centre with free parking directly outside the house.
A very well run bed and breakfast house in Barnard castle . a restful and comfortable night in very special surroundings. every care was taken with the little extras to make guests feel at home.I would stay there again. run by a delightful Italian couple with a great breakfast. Thanks Angie
