Nothing against the staff as I am certain they Work very hard but the new online booking system is convoluted no doubt by design cut down on appointments and do you know what to vulnerable members of society, absolutely disgraceful, there is no reason why any person should not be able to go to their local doctors in person or call and book an appointment. You have paid for it.
Just off Eden Street. Very well organised place very clean and well signed. Good parking bays marked out. Book in and report to your designated area. Staff are first class go out of their way to help you. Very professional and friendly and helpful covid aware facilities are good. A good experience
After my x-ray results came back I was told by a Dr over the phone when I need codeine all I had to do was ring up and a prescription would be done on the same day because a bone got trapped in my spine and then crushed and the pain iam suffering is like a knife in the back of my ribs being twisted. I can't sit or lay down or turn over in bed because the pain is that bad when I rang up today and explained I needed more codeine as I've ran out the receptionist being stuck up over the phone turned around and said it would be a few days or even over a week then slammed the phone down no wonder she would not tell me her name I can't barely walk as it is because the disk collapsed in my spine a few years ago and Ive had 3 spine injections at Newcastle rvi what never worked and to be left like this in so much pain I would rather be dead at least I would not be left in this pain anymore it's hard enough without this new injury.
You can only book an appointment to see your GP at 8 o’clock in the morning via telephone. Can you imagine not being able to book an appointment in person? Can you imagine having to wait for an hour to get your phone to not get picked up, whilst a voice tells you every 40 seconds that the line is busy? If you like the sound of all of this then by all means join!!!
The doctors and nursing staff here have turned my life around at times. They are often working under terrific pressure Ian very grateful to them. They are as well polite just like the administrative staff.nnI am very grateful to them and feel lucky to know they are there when the going gets tough!
