Just off Eden Street. Very well organised place very clean and well signed. Good parking bays marked out. Book in and report to your designated area. Staff are first class go out of their way to help you. Very professional and friendly and helpful covid aware facilities are good. A good experience
Very clean, well organised and efficient. My wife and I have had nothing but exemplary care from this practice. The Doctors here are understanding and compassionate to a degree which I have rarely seen.
What a joke! Called 5 times cut off 4. After 30 mins hanging on was told they couldn’t get me an appointment and I had to call back at 8am in the morning! Disgraceful! GP’s are wanting a wage rise, for what? You wonder why people go straight to A&E
Cannot get an appointment, it takes 5 days for repeat prescription to make its way next door to pharmacy! The repeat prescription line was full so couldn't leave message. It's the only surgery where you cannot make an appointment!!!
I believe the receptionist laughed at me behind my back because of my autism over some confusion regarding registration. When I phoned for the manager to ask them to resolve the matter, they refused to take any action whatsoever.
You can only book an appointment to see your GP at 8 o’clock in the morning via telephone. Can you imagine not being able to book an appointment in person? Can you imagine having to wait for an hour to get your phone to not get picked up, whilst a voice tells you every 40 seconds that the line is busy? If you like the sound of all of this then by all means join!!!
The doctors and nursing staff here have turned my life around at times. They are often working under terrific pressure Ian very grateful to them. They are as well polite just like the administrative staff. I am very grateful to them and feel lucky to know they are there when the going gets tough!
Once on the rare occasions I actually get to see someone the medical staff are fine and friendly but everything else is so frustrating. When I was suffering from extreme anxiety and phoned at 8am on a Monday i sat listening to that flipping phone message during which not one but two people tell you every 20 seconds to keep holding for 25 minutes and what a state I was in by the time they actually answered. How about a separate number on the keypad for a mental health issue? I've phoned saying I feel unwell and they send me for bloods. You don't hear back if they think everything is OK but of course I was still feeling unwell but do they phone to say " your bloods were OK but so maybe we should try something else?". No they leave you to feel like a waste of their time. Improvements needed in communications and closing out people's issues.
Impossible to get through on the phone. Zero follow-up. Unable to to order repeat prescriptions. We have to remind them every month that the patient is house bound. The pharmacy next door is even worse, 4 weeks waiting for a prescription to be made up. GPs are a joke generally at the minute. They seem to have been on holiday since March 2020, I've no idea what they actually do now, but this place is totally dysfunctional. Typical monopoly supplier
I did get an answer & was able to book an appointment, but was on hold for 9 minutes, a computer recorded message plays for the first 3 minutes of your call. Fine for me I'm on a mobile with 300 free minutes but how about that elderly confused unwell person who has just spent 25p connection charge & another 20p per minute to listen to some recorded message.my call could have cost that person over £1 & they may not have got an appointment. Unacceptable, I could have drove there quicker than getting the phone answered.
