Welcome to Norfolk Square Dental Practice. The original dental practice was established over 55 years ago.

We are lucky to have loyal patients and we value the fact that many of them have been coming to this practice for the whole of their lives. Our promise is to offer ethical high quality dentistry, to keep it simple and jargon free, and to discuss all available options with you.

We understand some patients are nervous about going to see the dentist; we have a special service for nervous patients.
We understand it is important to manage costs. We provide a clear treatment plan and will explicitly discuss all costs of treatments.
For those who want to have quality of private dental care and full control of their treatment costs we offer Denplan.

My mum loves this practice she's always praising the staff. She's often nervous but the physicians, nurses etc often make her feel more relaxed. She also complimented someone called Emily today saying she always greets her a warm welcome, a nice big smile and really makes her feel comfortable. If I didn't already have a dentist then I'd join here for sure Thanks to all of you for looking after my mum.
Such a fantastic dental practice. My experiences with both the dentist and the hygienist were fantastic! I was very worried as the previous dentist I went to caused me a lot of pain, but this one is very gentle! Prices are not bad considering competition and that no practices are taking on NHS patients. Thank you!!
I saw the hygienist Courtney here after needing a deep clean to my teeth following my check up. I can't say highly enough about how professional and knowledgeable she was. She explained a lot of things to me to help improve the health of my gums and it was also the first time I've had any test done to see how much my gums bleed. Honestly the staff here couldn't be more friendly and welcoming across the board and they honestly gave me one of the best experiences I've had at a dental practice. I recommend these guys to everyone now and although the clean was private, I didn't find it expensive and actually found it cheaper then many other places.
I saw the Hygienist, Grace, who was really professional and explained throughout the appointment what she was doing and why. She also took the time to explain about gum health and I found the whole appointment really educational. She is also very approachable and I felt confident to ask her any question without fear it would be deemed a 'stupid question'. Lots of gum health tips for me to follow and I am not anxious at all about my next appointment because I know I am in safe hands. The nurse, I think her name was Molly, was also very professional and was working away in the background efficiently and calmly.
Im extremely nervous patient and experience with this surgery is amazing..they made me feel comfortable started with receptionist whom tried speak with me and take my mind away from what is gonna happen, DR William was very gentle and kind. I told him about my fear and he listened...and lovely nurse hold my hand whole time ..I would highly recommend this team..CANT SAY THANK YOU ENOUGH...
Will and Chris were fantastic with me for my first appointment at the Norfolk Square practice. They were very informative, helpful and made me feel very comfortable. The hygienist was very thorough, friendly and also very helpful. She looked after me very well and was lovely. I was very happy with their service and I would 100% recommend them.
When I moved to Brighton a few years ago it was important for me to find a good dental practice. I’d previously had an outstanding team of dentist and hygienist where I used to live so I was used to high quality of care and great bedside manner. I chose this practice because of their good Google reviews. The first time I booked a hygienist appointment there I was instead given a 10-min clean by the NHS dentist, yet charged for a private hygienist appointment. This felt like a complete rip-off since the appointments with my previous hygienist would last 30min, where he would thoroughly clean my teeth using what looked and felt like much more modern tools, and he charged slightly less than this practice. However, my following appointments with an actual hygienist at Norfolk Square were ok although nowhere as good as my previous hygienist and that’s the only positive thing about my experience there. The practice went through two different NHS dentists during my time as their patient and both were a let-down compared to my previous trusted dentist; they came across as disinterested and impersonal. Luckily, I only had routine checks and never needed any work done so I can’t comment on their other skills. Another thing that I disliked is how they always pressure you to book appointments 6 months in advance, even though the place never looked that busy to me. They also require you to prepay for hygienist appointments which means that you end up having to pay in advance for a service that you will receive in 6 months. In the end I stopped being their patient after something strange happened to my records. I went there for an emergency appointment after an unrelated to them orthodontist damaged my enamel. He left scratches on the backs of 5 teeth and deeper cuts on 1 tooth. The dentist at Norfolk Square took photos of the damage and showed them to me on the screen, pointing out exactly where the damage was. The photos were of good quality and the damage was clearly visible as yellow lines on my teeth. I asked for copies of these photos and in my distress I mentioned that I was considering legal action against the person who caused the damage. I was told, “But it’s nothing, just a bit of enamel!” Maybe it’s “nothing” to her and this tells a lot about her ability to empathise with patients but the damaged areas still hurt every day 2.5 years later and I know that the damage was done on purpose. When I finally received the photos they were so incredibly blurry that none of the damage could be seen, with file size less than 100kb. The photos show in full the 5 teeth that have less damage, however only a small part of the most damaged tooth is captured in what is the blurriest edge of the photo. I’ve asked numerous times what happened to the images which I was shown during my appointment where the dentist pointed out the yellow lines on my tooth which represent the damage. This was always met with silence. When I later requested the medical notes from that appointment, which took them a month to send and I had to chase, there were also errors in there. After this I didn’t feel that I could trust them with the health of my teeth or with keeping accurate records so I’m no longer a patient there.
Norfolk Square is the best dentist I’ve been to. Every time I visit, the staff are so friendly, helpful and caring. Thank you to receptionist/DJ Chris, Jośe and Alex and Will! for being so caring and helpful throughout. 100% recommend.
Perfect dental practice that I have already highly recommended to all of my family and friends. I found this dentist last year and I have been to them several times now. I needed couple of fillings and a good clean. The dentist and his team are very professional and considerate. A truly hidden gem!
I initially joined this practice to have my teeth whitened and was pleasantly surprised by how modern and clean the practice and reception are. It’s is very welcoming and comfortable and the reception staff are very helpful and always cheery. I have had my trays done for whitening and a separate general check up where I found the dentist very professional and a pleasure to talk to. He talked me through every step of my check up and showed me my xrays and details of my teeth which need extra attention. He then wrote me a treatment plan of which I received a copy and made me feel very well looked after and a part of the whole process. I will also be having a filling and will be returning to buy more whitening gel over the next month as the prices are very reasonable. All in all a refreshing and good experience. Would highly recommend.
