I have had a phobia about going to the Dentist, having some teeth removed scared Me. Dr Said Jacobi has put My fears at rest, now I have My Smile back. Thank You. Agree with other reviews, don't bother if you're a NHS patient! I was unfortunate enough to be allocated a dentist whom was curt and insistent with me when I questioned his opinion as to why my tooth had to be extracted after a filling had dropped out - this was after a 5 second visual examination - Despite the fact that he was 100% sure I insisted on an x-ray. It was after this procedure that he changed his opinion and the tooth did not have to be extracted - and so proceeded with a filling. What an shocking examination and diagnosis that could have left me toothless with the prospect of a denture. I was also asked me if I paid for my treatment - what should that have to do with good dentistry - this made me very uneasy. The dentist went straight into the procedure of sticking a needle in my gums and performing work without telling me so - there was no explanation of what he had just performed either! Post-procedure I was informed there was some decay on another tooth, to which I asked when would it be possible to book a time to deal with it - I was told I had to have a private hygienist appointment before any further treatment would be carried out. Finally, the practice reception and exterior looks tired and shabby, which is not reassuring look for any dentist practice. I have not returned to this practice and have since found a wonderful NHS dental practice who checked over my teeth and gave me a NHS scale and polish and are wonderfully attentive.

I have to say I was so impressed with this practice. I lost the place at my old one and they like many dental practices had stopped taking NHS patients. When I initially called, the receptionist was amazing and gave me an appointment for the next week. On visiting I met a dentist by the name of José and his lovely assistant. I was given a routine check and xrays which cost £20.00. I decided to go ahead with a clean and on my second appointment I left feeling very happy with the result. Cleaning is not covered under the NHS but I was always kept informed about the cost and although I was eager to have all my mental filling replaced by white ones he suggested against it unless necessary as this may cause more problems. This shows that they care about you and don't see you as a walking pound sign.I think this is an amazing practice and would recommend to anyone especially if nervous about dentists

I have had several dentists over the years but this is the best. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the treatment I have received has been excellent. Have had some teeth rebuilt or capped and never had any repercussions. Also a dentist that doesnt try to have an ongoing conversation with you whilst your having treatment except for checking that you are ok.

Friendly reception staff. I saw Tara for a filling. I am a nervous patient, and she was very understanding and helped put me at ease. I would absolutely recommend her.
