Theyre completely trained in scamming students, from start to finish all thats been happening in is them trying to get as much money out of us. We kept getting different prices of the deposit and rent, higher than what we were being told, no one even came to clean the house before we moved in, yet when my flatmate was finishing her contract the first time they attempted multiple times to charge her for cleaning.The student lettings peoperty manager even told me after waiting for a year after the end of my tenancy that my flatmate asked for my deposit to be used to pay her rent arrears!!
Spent days cleaning the house before moving out, the house wasn’t even clean before moving-in somehow I’ve got none of my deposit back. To speak plainly they scammed us out of a deposit and I should have looked at the previous reviews before renting here. If you’re a fellow student do yourself a favour and stay way!
Rented a student house with friends, my room wasn't finished when I first moved in with decorating stuff everywhere no compensation received. When chasing deposit during COVID, I was overpaid and had to send the money back. My fellow tenants have had delay after delay in getting their deposits back, despite repeated phone calls from myself with assurances that the deposits had been sent back and would be with us shortly still no end. Strikes me as really unprofessional and in-efficient. Based on my experience really wouldn't recommend.
Awesome services with full fledged team to handle all task including viewing, house survey, emergency issues & financial aspects.
Worst experience, they were misleading, they kept changing the person who was in charge of the house I rented ad wen they changed that person the information about the house and payments would change as well. upon arriving at the house at the beginning the place wasn't cleaned, there was poor communication and even after proof of evidence of the way the house was when I met it, they still took my deposit. Due to the fact that it was a new person handing everything. The communication is only good when you ae viewing the places but once I signed the contract things went downhill.
The worst ever experience from a student estate agent. DO NOT USE. The following reasons: Tried to scam us out of our deposit - if you're a tough cookie you can bully them back to get some. Viewing times are given as such - this afternoon 9-5. Not 24 hours before, not specific time. Asked us to break lockdown which is illegal to return keys during covid era. No flexibility on Covid. Tried to charge extra rent when unable to return keys due to covid - absolute scum.
I found the staff to be extremely polite and the service to be nothing short of 1st class. I was taken through the steps of renting my first property with great detail and patience. Nothing was to much trouble. Highly recommend!!!!!
Dreadful year in my property and can't wait to move out! Problem after problem not being fixed; mould, damp, holes in roof, leaks, broken carpets/windows/lights, hygiene of the property is vile. Not happy at all! Not worth the rent! Staff were helpful however nothing really ever got fixed, I'm a month away from moving out and still an A4 sheet full of problems
Absolute terrible estate agents and houses. Tried ripping us off out of EXTRA rent money of £1309 which we didnt need to pay. Broken washing machine, lights, broken shower tiles which are sharp Would NOT RECOMMEND to any students thinking to rent a house out in DMU or Leicester area Landlord is terrible as well
