We've just come out of Next, Water fields Watford, frustrated. We went in at six o'clock, one hour before closing. The staff had closed the changing rooms and refused to open them. There was no good reason for it, just laziness. We won't be spending our money in Next, we'll go elsewhere where they actually want to sell clothes, and are not desperate to close early. Very poor. I suggest you hire staff who aren't lazy and are committed to the job, and then ensure that they are supervised properly by a competent manager. We've just spent our money in Marks and Spencer where they actually have decent staff.
Be warned! The parking restrictions at Waterfields Retail Park mean you can only park for 2hrs max. I had ordered 6 dresses online to try on in store for an upcoming event. Two hours was plenty of time right? Wrong. I wanted to return all of the dresses but you have to use their stupid in store automated system. I had carefully re-packaged everything in the dressing room after trying the items on, only to be told each one needs to be scanned when returning come on Next, surely you can allows customers to enter an order number and then select which items they wish to return?. This took a little while but when I clicked for a receipt none was printed. The manager came over and checked her handheld machine. She said only one of the items had been registered as a return. After a further 25 minutes of faffing, the manager finally got the machine to register the return. By now, I had exceeded the 2hr parking limit and today received a £60 fine. Thanks Next. Not shopping here again.
I visited Next today to buy some mens jeans. Having found exactly what I wanted I went to the counter to pay for them when the assistant told me a different price as to what was on display, challenging this the assistant then said the price has recently risen and that I could have the jeans at the published price. THIS SORT OF THING HAPPENS TOO OFTEN AND SHOULD BE STOPPED! Obviously if I were buying multiple items I may not have noticed that I was overcharged for the jeans
24.12/ 16:20nI would recommend to work on basic customer service. Waiting for the lift with the pram and crying baby and shopping in hand when blond lady who works there is in such a rush to go first with the empty clothing rail and didn't let us go first. Unbelievable. I thought this shop has a bit more standards and brain, specially when you spending there money.
I went Next yesterday, there was a long queue but the service which I got from the lady named Sadia on the till was excellent. I had to go back long way n I was worried if i could find the size, Sadia went n checked for the sizes in the stock room twice n found the size. It was my daughters birthday n she was happy to get the dress..
