I recently had an exceptional dining experience at The Prince of Wales, thanks to the fantastic service and delicious food. After a lovely, but tiring walk in the Peak District we had earned a nice relaxing meal, to our luck Harriet, our waitress, was attentive, and made us feel truly welcomed in the venue. Her knowledge of the menu was excellent as a result her recommendations were spot on, and she ensured my vegan burger was the best option for my dinner, IT WAS THE BEST BURGER I’VE HAD since becoming vegan. Whilst my partner thoroughly enjoyed their pork!! The ambiance of the restaurant complemented the meal perfectly, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere, I left feeling completely satisfied and will certainly be returning as soon as possible. I highly recommend for anyone seeking a top-notch dining experience!
What an incredible dining experience!! The food was just as I’d imagined - perfect! The atmosphere was brilliant and to top it off our waitress was just an angel. Harriet was not only accommodating and efficient but she lifted our spirits and overall heightened our dining experience at the Prince of Wales. Thanks you so much for a wonderful evening!
Yesterday, I went with a few friends for lunch at the Prince of Wales restaurant. We ordered a variety of small plates to share along with mini desserts and coffee. The food was excellent - very tasty and well presented. The staff were polite and helpful. We had a very enjoyable relaxed afternoon. I have used this restaurant several times, including, group Christmas meals. The food has always been of an excellent standard. An added bonus was ample free parking for customers- very difficult to find in this locality. Vegetarian options: Plenty of tasty vegetarian options Dietary restrictions: Not applicable Parking: Free parking lot is also a big attraction In this locality, parking is usually rather difficult
Just want to say a huge thank you to Harriet for looking after us at The Prince of Wales, she went above and beyond. The service we received was impeccable and because of Harriet we can’t wait to return. The food was of the highest quality and the interior was spectacular. Highly recommend!Food: 5/5

Not been for a while but food and service first class. Had the roasted chicken with truffle sauce ! Harriet was very attentive and helped me choose some good wine and was so accommodating with my little one. She’s an absolute asset to you!Food: 5/5

Perfect place especially for outside dining now that the sun is out! The inside is also gorgeous by the way. They have a variety of things on the menu especially vegan options ! The squids were the best in Sheffield according to my partner and the chips were AMAZING! I would go back just for those haha! The customer service was exceptional!!! Everyone was lovely and really exceeded customer service!! Loved loved the nourish bowl it had many flavours and it was so refreshing ! Would highly recommend Vegetarian options: Many ! Harriet is an asset to the team, she made our time do enjoyable and looked after the little ones in our party amazingly. Can't recommend her and the great food enough. We'll be back!Food: 5/5
