I have been a regular customer of new city VIP Taxis for 6 year's now! And although occasionally there's the odd hiccup, where a taxi may be running a little late, or there may be a bit of a wait to get one. Generally the service is very good, with friendly, helpful drivers on the whole

I have used New City multiple times a week for the last 5/6 months. They are the most friendly taxi service in Preston. The operators are polite and well-spoken. My taxis always arrive promptly and the drivers don't complain about paying by card like most other companies drivers do.

Best driver I have ever had driver 3 thank you so much for taking me and my partner all the way home to Scotland. wee will never forget you and will always be phoning to get you when back down in England. I would highly recommend this driver, kind, caring, and best of all up for a chat as nothing worse sitting quite the full way home. Driver number 3 made my journey fly by got back in Scotland very quickly because time flys when your having fun. Cant wait to meet you again thanks so much for such a beautiful well run service
I've never had or even heard of worse customer experience. The driver simply didn't show up so I called to ask for some more information, like is he just going to be very late or if they're able to send someone else but the operator kept hanging up on me each time I tried to explain the situation to him. I work in customer service and I can't possibly imagine myself acting that way towards clients and not getting fired on a spot so I have absolutely no idea who could mismanage company to such an extent that their employees feel so comfortable disrespecting customers. After reading other reviews I can see that there's plenty more wrong with this company so maybe I dodged a bullet here with the driver not showing up because at least no one tried to kidnap me.
I have used New City 3 times now. First two times were great. They arrived in a reasonable time frame, got me to my destination quickly and they weren't as pricey as other taxi firms. However this morning I booked a taxi for ASAP with an estimate of 15 mins wait... 40 mins and I'm still waiting as I type this. I'm hoping this was a one off fluke and they are better this.
Keep your eyes peeled about the route they take, I've just told a driver to take me from Walton summit to Ashton. He went via the motor way!!!! At no point should he be on one. Absolute theft.
A dodgy taxi business that employs dodgy people. One of them stole card details and made purchases.Service: Limousines
