The reviews are really as bad as it is in the Car Park. The only reason I used this Car Park was because of it's central location in the City. The smell throughout the stairwell is ridiculously bad and you often have to do multiple-point turns to even get up the ramps to higher/lower levels and the parking spaces themselves are tiny. You'd think they could afford basic cleaning after charging people £6/hr to park here.
I usually park here on the lower floors. Today, the only space available is on the tenth floor. The smell of urine is so bad it makes you want to breathe. Please pay more attention to cleanliness. I thought I was walking into a toilet.
It really is as bad as they say. It smells awful in the stairwells and the lifts don’t work. The pedestrian door is not locked despite having a keypad for licence plates to ensure only people who have cars in there can walk in. The ramps and spaces are so unbelievably narrow that it feels like you’re going to destroy your car. And the car park itself is just very expensive. The only positive is the location, but I think I’d rather park further away if I knew just how rough it was.
My car window was smashed, several bags were stolen, no elevator and smells like a toilet. The worst paid parking in the UK.
This is quite literally the worst car park I have ever stored a vehicle in.nnDo not attempt to park here if you drive anything larger than Smart ForTwo. I had difficulty making any corner and normal sized cars overhung the spaces, making exiting ramps nearly impossible. The spaces themselves are tiny, both in width and length, many having support pillars ready and waiting to snatch off wing mirrors and trap you in your vehicle till the expansion of the sun.nnTake the doors as a warning to keep out. Doors so thirsty for oil they're the mechanical equivalent of a mummified corpse, only kept moving by dark, ancient magic of the kind one has to sell their soul to summon much like the pricing see below. The entire place smelt mummified as well, alternating between musty as the grave and cleaning fluid so strong you'd be forgiven for thinking someone had set fire to a liquorice truck. It stank, it hurt the lungs to breathe.nnThe place doesn't take cash of course, the sign of a place trying to take you for all your worth. If a car park doesn't take cash, you can rest assured it will be triple a reasonable price at the minimum, and it was. It cost more for two hours than parking in the Bay for the whole night. We could have stayed overnight for cheaper than parking the car.nnNot that the payment system worked. It didn't properly read the numberplate on the way in, giving us the constant worry that we'd be charged some even more extortionate rate for unregistered parking and the process of entering details into the barely functional touch screen felt like it was deliberately designed to cause the most anger possible.nnEverything was dirty, smelly, broken and poorly designed to begin with. Scam pricing, rates not shown until you're already committed, trapped inside by the tight, winding corners.nnPark in the Bay and walk.
