Easy to find way in and out. Good sized spaces, not too busy, superbly close to shops, clean, well maintained, surprisingly cheap parking and mostly...a car park that makes sense and doesn't have you driving in circles, swearing, unable to find your way out. Compared the fiasco in Cardiff when I visited recently for the first time, where parking was such a nightmare that I gave up, it was wonderful to just drive into this one and park and shop and pay easily without confusion and go. A great car park
Really expensive. We could barely get a wheelchair in the lift, and the disabled lift was out of order, with the result we had to play chicken with oncoming traffic to get out of the car park. There was no way to push the wheelchair back up the ramp, meaning I had to leave a disabled person unattended late at night to fetch the car. When we exited the car park, there was a small sign informing patrons that the disabled lift was out of order. Helpful - not. Would not use this car park again.
I will never use NCP again! Positives: Good location Usually there are free spaces no wonder why!. Negatives: Extremely expensive, roughly 30£ for 5 hours Only one small lift working. Had to wait for long time The lift doesn't go to proper ground floor. Had to lift the pram with help for 5-6 stair steps not wheelchair accessible at present
Extortionate - we were parked up about five hours. It cost us £29.70 I wished I’d walked a little further!!! I’m not saying that the prices were not advertised but I certainly didn’t see them - otherwise I wouldn’t have bothered. Don’t get taken in like we did!!!
Parked here for an event at City Hall for convenience and not knowing the city - incredibly expensive and very tight spaces. The stairwell smells like a public toilet and is quite unpleasant.
Tight manoeuvres needed, tight spaces too. Rip-off charges too, watchbout you don't overstay a charging period. We were 8 mins over 4 hrs 8 mins and had to pay £23.75!
Good location but DO NOT USE! £25 for 4 hours! Far more expensive than other car parks in the area. Prices not displayed in the car park. Total rip off. Never parking there again.
Terrible, unsafe, smells, floods, lifts out of order, not even worth a star, etc... Our car window got smashed along with 10 others on Xmas morning. Won't be going there anymore unless there is masive improvement. Please avoid especially overnight parking.
I will definately not be using this Car Park again and it will be a very long time before I visit The New Theatre in Cardiff . following being overcharged by the council owned Car Park, I recently visited Wales Millenium Centre to see Les Miserables, highly recommend seeing this show, Parked the car in NCP car park Mermaid Quay. Same amount of time for parking 2 hours 50 mins. £19.80 in Greyfriars Road. £5.50 in Mermaid Quay. And Cardiff City Council want too increase the revenue in the City Centre, they are going the right way about it , they will be sending visitors to the Bay.
Had a fine through today,30th December 22 for £100,for being a couple of minutes over the allocated leaving time waiting for my daughter who had a toilet emergency,it was sent 14th December so didn't get the chance of the reduced fine before the 14 days,my family have been using Yr extortionate conveniently placed car parks for years and that's how u treat people in these trying times,u mention ur signed rules,joke as r this company,last penny out of me tossers.
