First time for me to use NCP in over 20years. Stopped because tariffs were a rip off. Nothing changed. Big sign telling the price for a days parking. Only available if you down load the app, before you go into the garage, not on the first time and only if you park there the Whole day. Cardiff open air park worse tells you £1.95 an hour ony with the app. Nowhere to scan the app as the app tells you. Notice telling you must pay on parking. So the pay when you get home not an option. The app is useless. Opps something when wrong when try to pay with it. It won't accept password to log in again opps message So nothing changed with ncp. It will be along time Before I use them again.
After heavy traffic in Wales, I found this car park to be reasonably priced. I arrived after 6pm. I uses the NCP App which worked with auto-pay so I didn't have to go to a machine or pay on an app.
This car park is a scam operation. As an out of towner visiting the Motorpoint, this car park looks like an inviting place to leave your car, but return after the performance and you'll find the place locked until morning. On closer inspection there is an opening hours sign placed conveniently behind a large lampost, at an angle which makes it close to invisible if approaching from one direction. On the night this happened there were at least 3 other groups of people dealing with the news that their cars were stuck until morning. 4 groups of people in one night had no idea the car park closed. I'm sure this appaling signage has ruined countless nights out in Cardiff. Absolute disgrace
I really like this Car Park. It’s central. The park places are of a good size…. BUT it is closed from 10 PM to 6 AM. Every day. Also on Fridays and Saturdays!! Unbelievable for such a central car park. And it is also a little bit expensive. 5h = 17,- pounds
Expensive. Parked for 4 1/2 hours cost nearly £20. What a joke. stay away from this one, Unless you want to be paying to much for your stay. We wont be staying there again.
Terrible place. Even worse since barriers gone and they changed the early bird times without telling anyone.
Quite expensive to park, only found out how much it was once at the barrier which then doesn't give you much choice, about 3 pounds per hour which isn't great. Better to look around for someone cheaper before going to the city centre.
Be careful with this parking as even if you pre-pay for 3 days but want to make ANY trips you will need to get a new ticket to enter the parking again! So basically they double charge you without letting you know in any email... BE AWARE
Too expensive. And then I got a ticket for not paying when I had!
Good car park but took us over an hour to get from the top tier to the street after the ed sheeran concert
