Beautiful tranquil garden with lots of flowers, old trees and a pond flowers beginning to appear and can't wait to go again when all blooming .
Very nice place to visit with family.
Peaceful oasis on the edge of Edinburgh. Not much colour at this time of year. Access for wheelchairs. Parking.
Was part of a walk that I was doing - Gardens are well kept and enchanting
Looking a bit tired but what garden does look its best in mid September after some heavy winds and rain? Nice quiet spot to relax. Would like to return when the roses are in bloom.
Tranquil spot with a single gardener plus volunteers very tolerant of questions. Can't wait to return for the roses... No cafe perhaps mercifully but I had a super, simple lunch at The Mill at St Joseph's in the village.
Very nice quiet garden and hidden gem.
A small out of the way garden. It's a national trust property. Be aware there are very few car parking spaces and the roads leading to and from it are single track roads. Nice place to spend a few hours as long as you get the weather!
Had a quiet walk round garden on a sunny day
