Lovely park in the middle of Corstorphine. Well laid out and safe for kids. If you get a chance, visit Dower house too, great little cafe and interesting local museum.
An excellent space for everyone to use, with a good sized children's play park, tennis courts, bowls, and Dower House, which is one of the oldest inhabited buildings in Edinburgh and now run by the Corstorphine Trust, housing a heritage center and café. The real jewel for St Margaret's though is the biennial Corstorphine Fair. Its a fantastic day out for all of the family, with shows, games and more for children, plus a variety of stalls, food, drink, and activities for adults too. It's a real shame that the Corstorphine Fair Committee don't have the vision to make this an annual event. The people want this, but they seem to lack the ambition to make it happen.
Great space for dogs walking playing catch ball, and big kids' play area. Tennis courts, Bowling Green.
Brought up beside St Margarets park, many great memories off childhood adventures there. Was good to see the young and old having fun at the fair on Saturday, wish they could make it annually as the smiles I saw was worth more than a thousand words.
Lovely small park with tennis courts, play area large grassy areas, mature trees, well stocked planting and Dower House. The Dower House is open to the public with small café and extensive photograph selection. The park is situated in the original Corstorphine village, off the main St. John's Road.
Lovely sunny day, not too many folk about, very pleasant.
Good for a short run about but you won't spend more than an hour here. Flying fox is a big hit with the oldest. Youngest loves the swings. There's some small bits to play with but needs a good maintenance, the trampoline is ruined.
Good facilities, tennis courts & bowling green. Unused most of the time, must be costing the local taxpayers a fortune. Typical Council mismanagement. Kids playpark is good, but mainly for tots. Large expanse of grass, great for dogwalkers & kids ballgames but the benches are unusable due to bird droppings etc so nowhere to sit & watch.
Nice park in the heart of Corstorphine village. Reasonably well looked after by the council and a wee bit money spent on it. Car park has been extended and old fencing has been replaced. Tennis courts and a bowling green help lift it to the next level.
Lovely staff, great cake and coffee. Outdoor and indoor tables. Dog friendly. Soup and panini. What's not to like? Support local business.
