I booked an appointment three weeks in advance for Monday. By Friday, I still hadn't received a confirmed time slot. I called them on Saturday and was told I'd receive it by 2 pm, but I didn't. Following up on Sunday morning, I was assured I'd get a call by 8:30 am Monday. I mentioned I had a one-hour trip, so they should notify me earlier. Monday came, and no one called, so I reached out at 9:30 am. They then informed me I could come at 10:30 am, which I agreed to. I was already 40 minutes into my journey when they called to say they found a fracture in the windscreen they intended to install, but they could still proceed. Why would I need to replace one cracked windscreen with another? In the end, I cancelled, wasting my booked day off for nothing.
On the first day they didn’t come on time and I called and they re scheduled for next day in their workshop. The windscreen was fitted well however after I noticed a scratch on it. After a week they replaced the scratched windscreen however now this one has broke clips around outside of window. Between the rubber and roof there is a large gap and my light interior is now black from the windscreen glue used. I do not recommend.
When they give you times dont believe them !!! Dont give you a time until the day. I was given 8.30 opening timeafter 8.30 knowing i was 45 mins away. Told 1-2 pm. Turn up on time. Told they would be doing another car instead. Told be done by 3. Turn up at 3. Just starting so told done by 4. Finished at 4.45 just in time for Portsmouth rush hr.
Fantastic service as always, always within the times stated, fitters courteous and happy to answer any questions. i have used these guys more than we should but we seem to go through windscreens more than tires. but cannot fault the service
They did a very good job replacing my windscreen and were professional and polite. They were also accurate on their timing. I would have given a 5 star review, however, the interior of my vehicle was not left clean. It was clean when it went into National Windscreens, but when it returned and my passenger went to get in the vehicle there were footprints left all over the door sills and on the front carpets, and the passenger seat was dirty, the dashboard was also filthy. Also the gentleman on reception had very little customer relation skills, in fact he was rather rude/unprofessional. I tried to take photos but they did not come out very well on the camera.

Had to get the front offside window replaced after in inexplicably shattered on the motorway. Claimed through my insurance and NW were able to get me booked in within a few days on the break occurring. Appointment only took a little over an hour to replace the window and they did a great job vacuuming out all the glass I didn't have a chance to clear out ahead of the booking. The professionals on site were very welcoming and informative. My partner also had the front windscreen of her Mercedes replaced in November 2023 due to a large progressive crack on the driver's side. Similar to my experience, the job didn't take long to complete about 45mins and she was on her merry way. Hoping to never have to claim again, but if we do at least we know NW Portsmouth do the job right!

Good service, no issues. Would definitely recommend.
Good windscreen chip repair at home. Polite mechanic. Done cheaply via Tesco insurance. But it took 3 calls to get the appointment sorted and appointment 1 week after first call. Could have resulted in chip becoming unrepairable.
