A great team of mechanics here, everyone went above and beyond getting a tyre in for replacement same day and then the aftercare has been fantastic. We’ve had suspected alternator faults twice soon after the tyre repair City carried out and the guys have gone out of their way to help jump start the car both times at no expense. 10/10 would recommend to anyone needing a local mechanic service.
Very good and efficient friendly staff. I phoned for an appointment that fitted in with my work pattern and the were more than happy to accommodate. I turned up early for my fitting and they did it right away. Very impressed with the service And speed of everything that was done
My exhaust fell off whilst driving. I called and explained, I took the car in to them the same day late afternoon and it was fixed the next morning. Great pricing and the guys there are so lovely! Great customer service!

What an amazingly honest garage. Went there today thinking my washer pump was dead, was quoted £140 for the repair, they put my car on the ramp, had a look around and found my power cable was not connected, they charged me nothing. Can see why the NHS lets them repair all of their ambulances. Amazing service by a great bunch of guys. Keep up the good work. Will definitely be coming back !
My son's car had problems with his car after leaving a garage in Exeter, Devon. He had problems before but this particular garage charged £300 for repairs which didn't sort the problem at all. So we stopped at City Exhaust's and although the mechanic didn't repair the car, he gave my son a good diagnostic of the engine by just looking at the engine. We know that there is a hole in the turbo pipe, and not in the water tank. So for that, I give this garage a 5 star. This is a good and honest garage.
These Guys are the best in the city. Always professional, helpful and prompt with their work. Would highly recommend if you want and quality service.
Used this garage countless times over the years and never had an issue with the tyre side of the business, the MOT side is a different matter. Got given a time for appointment and transpired that either I was given the wrong time, it was recorded incorrectly in their appointment book or the tester wanted a longer lunch break as I arrived at 11 and was told the appointment was for 1045. When I argued the toss pretty much got called a liar. That’s the reward for customer loyalty. And the joke is I’ve lost count of the amount of times over the years I’ve had to wait hours after my appointment time to get work done and never complained once.
Always excellent service at a realistic price! I have used this garage for many years for my car and my wife and children’s cars too. Wouldn’t go anywhere else…
Good prices, friendly staff and a quick turnaround. Good for MOT'S too.
