I was surprised to see a Nandos at Gatwick. We had a 6.50am flight and arrived at 5am in the departure gates. They offered full breakfast for £11.95. The host male Staff was very welcomed and took us to out table. The food ordered come very quickly,even with the restaurant busy. Food was delicious ,fresh and hot. All staff were very friendly, with a smile at 5am. They do start at 3am working, so well done in greeting us with a smile.
Yes, the wait might be almost an hour. Yes, they are understaffed . But isn’t it better to control the crowd so the few staff they have can do their job with a smile on their face . I sat and watched loads of people moan and complain and be unbelievably rude to the lady doing the door . She was patient and kind , but there are the people who would poke their heads in saying “look at all those empty tables , this is ridiculous “ Like it’s her fault! . Post pandemic most places are struggling to get employees. Imagine if the policy was , pack in the people , take their money who cares about how long they wait for food or the quality of food and service . Wouldn’t that be worse . ? Friendly staff, lovely food as always , and a well thought out interim plan as far as i can see . If you don’t have enough time , then don’t stress yourself or other people out by going . If you do have time … it’s worth the wait.
We stopped in to have a bite while we were waiting for our flight. I heard great things about Nando’s in london but didn’t have the chance to try it. I wasn’t disappointed the food and atmosphere hits the right spot! The service were fast and accommodating. The chips were nice and crisp too which I loved.Recommended dishesChips, Burger
The food is really nice and the atmosphere is very relaxed and enjoyable. The place is huge and very nicely decorated. The service was nice but my only complaint was that the place was quite empty and you have to wait to be seated and I waited almost 10 minutes, I really can't imagine how it will be on busy days. There was just one girl taking orders and 3 more people just watching her taking orders. After that the food arrived pretty fast and it was pretty good. I got the fino pitta burger, the size was quite small but the sides were generous. If you like spicy food go for the extra hot, it's not super hot.
On our way to Antalya, Turkey we stopped for breakfast at this Nandos at Gatwick location. To my understanding this is either first or only Nandos location to serve breakfast. Menu has many good ideas for kids and adults alike. Very busy location but our order served within 15 minutes. I found decorations of this location as the best among the locations I been to. Paid 57 pounds for family of six weeks including two small kids.
Came here on a Saturday morning around 6am and was not busy, the food was so good, definitely breakfast with a Nando’s twist, the sausage roll is good for a quick bite to eat and they do take away and you can pick spice optionsRecommended dishesNandos Eggs Benedict
Awesome place to grab a quick bite while waiting to board. The location can get pretty packed quickly however it worthwhile. Food was tasty and does have the Nando's natural taste
Great fresh griled chicken breast with option to order it extreme spicy , I enjoyed every minute . The service was good and you can order the meal by yourself from your seat using barcode scan. The place design extreme beautiful with great background music,highly recomended. Vegetarian options: Saw some vegan dishes in the menue.
Ordered a sunset burger, the meat looked grey and was kinda slimy in texture. Corn wasn't the freshest but the chips were good. Fast service, however and staff were professional.
You have to try their Chicken wings!! They are super delicious! Staff are so kind at this branch and they manage requested very quickly so people do not have to wait much to get food before the flight
