Perfect location — just steps outside the terminal, which was ideal for our late-night arrival.nnCheck-in was smooth with the self-service machine, though staff were always present and helpful. The room was impressively quiet, making us forget we were right next to the airport.nnThat said, the room felt small, especially with the sofa bed already made up despite us being a couple. A large suitcase could only be opened on the bed/sofa or behind the door.nnWi-Fi was very strong, with an excellent connection across four phones two personal and two work.nnA big highlight for me was the bathtub — not something you often find in UK budget hotels, or even many higher-star ones. On the downside, we couldn’t locate a temperature control to lower the heat, and the windows don’t open understandable given the airport location.nnBreakfast was satisfactory for the price, and check-out was quick and easy. We also appreciated being able to leave our luggage for the day, with just a £3 donation.nnWe didn’t use it, but the bar was open after midnight. Had we known in advance, we wouldn’t have shopped at M&S in the airport for late-night snacks and drinks.nnOverall: a great choice for a comfortable pre-departure or post-arrival stay at LGW, especially for the reasonable price.
I had an excellent overnight stay at the Premier Inn at Gatwick airport. The room was comfortable and quiet—what truly set this experience apart was the outstanding customer service. After flying to another country, I realized I’d left behind an expensive dental splint. When I reached out the staff were incredibly responsive and went above and beyond to help, locating my lost property quickly and arranging to ship it safely to me back home in Australia.nnVery grateful for their help and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a stress-free, guest-focused experience.
Super convenient location next to the South Terminal. Always comfortable with consistently good service—I’ve stayed here several times. This time the sink was clogged, but as it was only a one-night stay I didn’t raise it; I’m sure it would have been sorted if I had. Still, small issues do make you wonder what else might be missed.nnWe stayed overnight and had the buffet breakfast. The food was genuinely good—sausages, mushrooms and hash browns were all well cooked. The only drawback was a questionable air vent above the food prep area; hard to ignore once you notice it, and it definitely needs attention.nnBeds and pillows were excellent as always, and the apple juice was surprisingly good. The dining area was spacious and clean vent aside. Despite those minor issues, I’ve stayed here five times and would still recommend it.
In average great room, comfy bed, very close to airport. Easy check in and check out. Seemed quiet and good dark curtains.nnSome negatives - why the bathroom taps are sooooo short? You barely can wash hands with that short tap. The bed has wheels so it is not sturdy.
Incredible 2 night stay. The check in staff were very helpful and many staff available to help.nThe food we ate in Thyme restaurant was served quickly was hot and very tasty.nI am Gluten Free and the QR code showed everything I could eat. All servers knew I was Gluten Free and checked at every order.nFor the world’s biggest Premier Inn the service was exceptional.
