Now called Vanda and run by a new company. Dishes from several Asian cuisines done quite well but still has a Chinese influence. House wine list ok, better by the bottle. Service good if a little unfriendly. Very busy on the night we visited, but they coped. Overall, not bad for an airport hotel...and an improvement on other visits in last few years.

Great Asian food in a tranquil oasis amidst the Gatwick bustle. Superb soup, spring rolls, cashew chicken and sizzling prawns. A really nice restaurant. Highly recommended

Great Chinese food, in authentic surroundings. I could have been in Hong Kong. Friendly service as well. I don't understand the poor reviews, strange.

The Gatwick Oriental is located in the foyer of the Sofitel. I have eaten here several times over the years and have always been pleased with my meal. There is a wide menu representing several Asian cuisines. The Thai green curry is nice and the atmosphere is quite elegant for an airport hotel.
