I’ve been a patient at Elwy dental practice for 40 years and now my family are too. I’ve always found the service very professional and the practice warm and welcoming. They keep up to date with new technology. Mani is now our family dentist and he is so calm and reassuring with anxious patients. No pressure or clock watching. Would highly recommend.

Told that my usual dentist George is no longer taking Nhs. So can’t make a check up apt for myself or my children who haven’t seen a dentist in two years due to pandemic. Told to call back in a couple of months to see if they have a replacement which would have been November but they will cover any emergencies. Now it’s nearly January. Called to get an emergency apt as I’ve got a big hole in the back of my front tooth and it’s really sensitive everytime I breath in. Called to see about an emergency apt. Told to call back in the morning. In a queue for 45 minutes to be told it’s not actually an emergency and shouldn’t have been told to call. But a dentist will triage me over the phone. Not sure show that’s going to help. As much as I understand, it is not the patients fault that you haven’t found a replacement for our normal dentist yet and myself and my children are left stranded without a dentist so cannot make any check up appointments and the lady I just spoke too was not very helpful. And was quite rude.

Dodgy dentists!  Book for a bridge repair and end up being blagged into having a botched scale & polish and an implant then get charged through the nose for pre-treatment assessments for the treatments they just told you you needed. Also, it might just be a coincidence, but I caught Covid twice the same day after having appointments at this practice… coincidence or not, they also charged me for being too ill to attend their pre-treatment appointments!   Ps. They also struck off my pregnant wife and 5 year old son as NHS patients for no apparent reason other than punishment for making a complaint, but maybe it was for the best because they received dodgy treatment on multiple occasions too!  Pss. If you’re thinking of switching to BUPA AKA Oasis up the other end of Rhyl or their Denbigh surgery DON’T! They’re even more corrupt!!!

Went to this practice today, for an emergency extraction, which didn't happen due to a more complex procedure required. I don't usually do feedbacks but after their help and explanation, I feel they need some praise. Dr.Manikandan Natarajan and assistant made me feel welcome, but the part that stands out most is putting a person health first before making a quick buck, very honorable. Keep up the good work. Will be trying to join up with the surgery closer to me.

Very nervous! George did a couple of extractions and some fillings for me, it came to light I needed dentures to help me long term,  great gentle service and no fuss, many thanks to the whole practice very professional and reasonable.

I saw Mr Moore for a check up. He's a great dentist, always have a good experience and always leave feeling reassured if theres anything ive been worried about. Everyone at this practice is so helpful and nice.

My dentist Manikandan Natarajan, has made me feel very comfortable about visiting the dentist after being apprehensive about dentists for many years. I would like to thank Dr Natarajan for being my dentist and helping me over the years. Mani has a wonderful way of putting me at me ease before and during treatments when I have been anxious. All in all he is a brilliant dentist. I have never liked dentists who does? But Mani has such a lovely manner that even I have kept appointments rather than avoiding them, like I used to

Shouldn't be allowed an NHS contract, clearly scamming the system. They haven't seen my children in over almost 2 years!!!!  They have openly admitted they would rather take private than NHS and always cancel family appointments a week before the appointment is due despite them needing treatment. The only appointment they didn't cancel was the private appointment and when we asked them to swap it for my child's NHS appointment, we were told NO!!!  I then recive letters offering me a private plan with you but for some reason you cannot help on the NHS, why are we paying taxes for this service?  Hand the NHS contact back and let someone else do the job that you are incabable to do. I'm going to pay private elsewhere for me and my family and we will never return. I will take this to the BDA to complain.

I Had 4 front teeth built up with composit in december 2021 and i paid £550 cash !! What a mess !! 7 months later The 2 front teeth were built up but they were not done properly !! The composit was put on so thin You can see the stumps through the composit !! The manager said you can see the stumps as iv not cleaned my teeth which i do !!! and was also told its because of the food i eat which is absolute rubbish !!!. Its Not finished here !

I saw Mr Moore for a check up. He was very patient  and reassuring.  Everyone at this practice are so nice and friendly.
