We visited just for a general look at cars. Plenty of customer parking spaces available. Hundreds of cars on forecourt area and we browsed without being bothered by any staff, which made it a very relaxed visit with no pressure. Didn't go into showroom area, but looked like plenty of staff there if questions needed asked.
I’d give them zero stars if I could. Bought a car from their Stockton branch in March and from day one had issues with the brakes practically screaming. Took it to the Birtley branch 3 weeks later to have it looked at. I was advised that the technicians identified the noise as it was evident when driving it round, and that they’d stripped the breaks and cleaned them and this should be the end of the matter. Needless to say it is not. Booked the car in once again because the noise came back. This time I was told that the technicians could not find a fault despite everything being noted from my previous visit which I asked to see evidence of, and so nothing was done - despite them having my car all day. I spoke to Fabrianne the service manager who lazily informed me they weren’t prepared to investigate the issue further, despite my car being covered under warrantee. I expressed that the car and the after sales service really isn’t up to the standard that I expected to be told “we’re a car supermarket, not BMW, so our standards differ.” You’re not wrong, because your standards, along with your customer care, are on the floor. I’ve since taken my car elsewhere to be diagnosed and a technician was able to identify within about 15 minutes that the issue is a stretched handbrake cable. I have been back in touch with motorpoint regarding this as my car is still under warrantee and provided them with the diagnostic report to be told that the warrantee does not cover any issues regarding brakes - despite the fact that the car was pre-sale inspected by them and has since been apparently looked at by technicians since then with this fault. I say apparently because I’m not fully convinced they even bothered to look at my car if another garage was so easily able to identify the fault when Motorpoint could/would not. I’ll be taking this further but in the mean time heed my warning: Motorpoint are substandard, dismissive, patronising and completely at peace with selling cars with faulty brakes.
Visited first before going to another dealership, sales person very helpful, no pressure, talked us through TCs. We did purchase a vehicle from them, follow up good.
Absolutely flawless and efficient process trading in my car. Staff members involved very friendly and made to feel very comfortable.
I was extremely satisfied with the service my son and I received from Lee Mills. He was very helpful , polite and professional . I would highly recommend Motorpoint at Birtley.
