Very polite, friendly and extremely helpful in all aspects. I had my previous car sold and its replacement, which I am very happy with, bought and everything dealt with in a matter of a few days. I would recommend paying them a visit to find out what they can do.
Despite the large distance involved from home to pick up the car, we were so happy with the attention and care we had from Bristol Street, Durham. We found the perfect car for us, and the whole experience before, during and after care were excellent. Very happy customer.
Terrible experience, collected my car which was damaged, the salesman Lewis Strong said it has been crashed into a bush or been through a dodgy automatic car wash. I’ve been back 4 times as I was promised it would be repaired, Each time has been bodged with a polish and as soon as the shine fades the scratches re appear. Ive been fobbed off as I should expect wear and tear, this definitely is not wear and tear. Be very careful! If the salesman had told me they class damage as wear and tear I would not of bought the vehicle. The sales manager Richard appears to be a nice guy but it’s all a facade to make you believe they have your best interests at heart but it couldn’t be further away from the truth. It would appear they promise the world and are very responsive when wanting your money calling 3/4 times per day but as soon as you drive away you can expect the salesperson to never be available when you call and please don’t expect to have any work done to a satisfactory standard. Very poor service for such a big corporate company. Oh and they even pressured me to leave a false review on their in house customer service survey and made me feel like I had to do this in return for having the car looked at. I would strongly recommend you avoid unless you want your time wasting and be put through a lot of unnecessary stress.
After researching a replacement car for my ageing Fiat Punto on the web, I plumped for a VW Up! through Bristol Street Motors Durham which will hopefully serve me well for 4-6 years. Five stars may well be justified. I've only had the car three weeks and this has been my first contact with the dealership. Fingers crossed in three years I will feel 5 stars are fully justified after the car has been serviced, etc. No complaints so far. My experience so far has been a very good one. There were plenty of cars to choose from. The salesman was keen to ensure I finished up with a car I was happy with and his knowledge of modern cars was infinitely better than mine. Staff generally were all very polite and efficient. I felt well looked after. The test drive was very informative and helpful. Part exchange was amicable and very straightforward. I feel I have received good value and have purchased additional warranty and a service plan so will get to know Bristol Street Motors over the next few years. I look forward to a good relationship with them in this time. Thank you.
Excellent customer service and friendly staff. Alex the Workshop Coordinator was extremely helpful in getting our motorhome wing mirror replaced while we waited. In and out in half an hour!!
