Needed a new car rather quickly and decided to come here for convenience…very glad I did. Support was excellent. Understood my concerns without patronizing me yes I am an older lady with nerves about hybrid models, guided me through the mountains of paperwork that modern car buying requires and all with humour and a relaxed manner. I found the little extras such as 7days free insurance to cover the admin needed to change my own insurance policy very reassuring. Well done the team.
I was looking for a second hand Dacia Logan, and one appeared in my search at Vauxhall Bristol Street Motors Durham. Jamie was the sales person who dealt with me and from the initial meeting nothing was too much trouble and when I was unable to get back up to the garage for a test drive, he kindly arranged for the car to come to me. When I collected the car it was immaculate. He then followed up a few days later to make sure everything was fine and that I was still happy.nWould highly recommend 10/10
Brilliant service yet again. Only ever buy my cars from Bristol Street and have family who have gone to them after seeing the service received. Martin Howarth was very polite and professional, no pushy sales tacs, kept informed along the way, and Paul seen him at the other Durham site when bought my previous cars nice to see familiar faces.
I recently purchased a car from Bristol Street Motors, and I have to say that my experience was exceptional, thanks to the outstanding service provided by James. From the moment I arrived, his friendly and approachable personality put me at ease.nHe took the time to thoroughly explain everything about the car, including its features, finance options and the additional services available, all in a way that was easy to understand. I never felt rushed or pressured and his patience was especially evident when I was undecided between HP or PCP. He was incredibly helpful, walking me through the pros and cons which made me decision much easier.nHis professionalism, knowledge and dedication to ensuring I had the best possible experience truly made the difference. It was clear that he genuinely cared about providing excellent customer service.nI highly recommend visiting Bristol Street Motors and asking for James.
Took car in for its first service - Car at garage at 8.15am and not ready for pick up till 5pm...nThe car was also meant to be getting a free valet and wash, well pictures show they lifted the mats shook the dirt underneath them then put them back down and dirt still on driver seat from our child's shoes when she's been in the car seat, shocking! Car covered in dirt still from the sand in the storm two nights before, so clearly not washed! Oily marks two spots like fingerprints in black oil on drivers seat that we've had to have professionally valeted out at my own expense. These oily finger prints all over driver door centre column too as photos show. Not happy at all.nnEDIT - ONE YEAR LATER AND THE SECOND SERVICE...nSecond service no better than the first. This time after the last fiasco we decided to book through the service centre via telephone to talk to an actual human so we could explain the last issues.nFrom here we were told after the last offered full valet that was offered after the oil all over the car wasn't taken then it could be done this time as a complementary offer for coming back to them for this service. This wasn't completed again, instead just a hand wash that they have missed most of the car on, the wing mirrors still had cobwebs on and every door sill is pitted with dust and dirt still!! The hoover they gave inside was only on top of the floor mats and didn't bother lifting them, or they lifted and brushed everything underneath as lifting them revealed so many stones and dust.nAs for the service, we bought a outrageously priced service plan when getting buying the 35+K car 2 years ago with the idea of no hidden extras or having to pay any money when needing to have it serviced, however once again a bill of 70 quid when collecting the car this also included the courtesy car which ill get on to next.nnCourtesy car - Asked for a grandland to try out as we were hoping to upgrade the car in the next two months and instead of having to plan a test drive in on a different time this would be more convenient, granted they had none to offer which I accepted, however I explained I needed a car that could fit two car seats in and a push chair in the boot, We currently own an astra and its no bother. They gave us a corsa. All plans for the day ruined as no chance getting a pushchair in the boot, and with it being both mine and the wife's birthday we had planned taking the children out for the day and going for a meal, this had to be cancelled. Also given a automatic which I was told would be manual as never driven an automatic, after a brief 2 min run through of buttons to use I was let loose upon the roads. Luckily I'm a quick learner.nnOverall we will not be returning for a future service or coming along within the next two months to buy a new car from here like we originally planned. You have lost a returning customer who usually buys the top spec and top budget from yourselves.
