Lovely factory with warm, friendly staff. The museum is small but a complete record of their history and is free to look around. The bottle oven is well maintained and there are lots of historical pieces amongst the lovely sgopm. Well worth a quick stop if passing.

There is a coffee machine and water machine for public use. Factory tours can be arranged with advance notice. It is also the base for many of the Moorcroft Club events.

If you like beautiful hand-made pottery then this is for you. Moorcroft pottery is simply stunning, although very pricey. There is a small museum on site with displays of pots from the last hundred years or so. There are tours available (book in advance) which take you behind the scenes and you see every stage of the making of the pots, which makes you understand the prices. Take the tour, it's well worth it (£7.50) I think.

Great place to see life as it was. When they burnt a ton of coal each firing the damage to lungs must have been bad. But the pottery is gorgeous.

Interesting museum of old and new Moorcroft. Helpful friendly staff. Only drink machine for refreshments.
