A fantastic visitor center for the Westport Lake park. Currently undergoing some external renovations and improvements that will be finished for the Summer. Wonderful lakes surrounded by wooded walks and cycling paths. The amenities of the centre are clean and modern and the cafe is lovely. A great place to visit, exercise or bird watch.

Fantastic place to sit and enjoy a light snack either indoors or outdoors. Dogs aren't allowed in the cafe but you can sit outside with them in the summer or winter. They have a nice selection of quick food, oat cakes, sausage rolls, scones, a children's selection of snacks. They have soya milk and vegan spread to replace butter, they also have naked bars and others of similar nature. You can buy bird food for £2 a box, as bread is not good for birds. There are small gifts but they can be expensive. The lake itself is beautiful all year round and has wonderful places to explore and can be walked all round.

Good parking, nicely kept nature area. Very good childrens play area. Cafe is okay, bit basic. There is a meeting room available to hire at extortionate prices.

Love walking round Westport Lake... There is also a big play area for children.. The local Ice Cream Van is always there..
