"Beautiful setting beside the river so have a bite to eat then drive up river in one of our motor boats! Hired daily for an hour! Food cooked to order, cakes, soups etc all homemade sandwiches made with bread from local bakers! We have an Alcohol licence so wine beer or even a cocktail of the day to enjoy! Ice cream parlour with sundaes available! Local bands play during sunny days it's a beautiful setting to spend some time very relaxing"

Lovely spot next to the river Arun. Was really busy when we came here for lunch so the service was a little slow. However, the food was good so worth the wait. Would recommend a visit
Excellent food and great service. Friendly staff. Beautiful view and great price for all 4 of us. We had 4 meals for less than £40 which I found great value. Beautiful view.
The good points it's in a great location next to the river, staff very pleasant and you can park easily on the pay and display car park. Service was OK but a bit slow, we visited on hot sunny day in August in need of bite to eat and drink the food was not good we ordered a chip butty which came with rock hard fries on a bun the bun was the only thing edible. We order to milkshakes that was just flavoured milk, not a milkshake at all very disappointing, had to order a coke to wash the taste away. Unfortunately I would not return despite the location as it was not good and expensive for what you got.
An amazing little cafe in a beautiful location. The views here are stunning and the service is great. The staff are lovely and attentive and you can tell they care about their customers. The cafe is outside but they have heaters so it is enjoyable even in the winter. The food and drinks are homemade, delicious and reasonable too!
Decided to stop at the Waterside Cafe for a bit of lunch before exploring the castle. The staff are lovely, and Summer the dog is beautiful But unfortunately none of us were happy about the food, just wasn't very nice. But... I would say this is the perfect place for a cuppa and a piece of cake . You can also hire boats here!
Lovely little cafe to stop and have lunch before or after a visit to Arundel Castle. Huge scone really tasty and great value for money, and other half enjoyed a fish finger sandwich, huge fishfingers and really nice bread. Slightly disappointed if they didn't have any lemonade to go with a gin but opted for a small wine instead. Really relaxed atmosphere and you can even rent a motorboat if you so wish!
First visit undercover on a rainy day and will not be the last. Great choice for veggie and vegans as well as carnivores including a daily specials board. My friends had the halloumi burger special and I had a fish finger sandwich which was huge and crunchy. Choice of bread for sandwich flavours or , ciabatta or wraps. Fries were crispy. Iced coffee was good and strong. Tea was also a proper deep colour. We also squeezed in a cream tea for dessert. Scones are huge and served warm. Only criticism would be I prefer traditional sticky jam rather than the compote style which arrived. Service was quick and super friendly. Great view / location even in the rain. Highly recommended. I cannot wait to return and try other parts of the menu. Good value and great portion sizes at around £22 per person for 2 courses and 3 drinks each.
Sat down at a dirty table with filthy chairs…. The woman that served us very rude and condescending…. So got up and walked away…. Horrible place. Nicer places to have lunch up the road. In reply to your rude reply…. I wasn’t vaping, I was holding a plastic cigarette that emits no vapour….. and you never mentioned the £5 min charge by card, just told rudely to pay cash… Bearing in mind your running a greasy spoon, does this excuse the cleanliness of your seating area? I bite back too love!
Me and my partner sat at a table which was sticky and had stained chair cushions. Greeted by a polite older lady waitress who took our order. My wine was nice and my partners milkshake he described as far below average. We were sat at a table directly opposite the kitchen area. We could see litter on the floor and it appeared to be dirty. The younger staff we could hear were behaving extremely inappropriatly and not professional in any manor. The two older ladies were very welcoming and friendly. It's a shame because the location by the river gives this cafe such a great opportunity to be outstanding but sadly is rather disappointing.
Nice location by the river. Plenty of outdoor seating most of which has some form of cover such as umbrellas. It was mildly busy but the service was efficient. Covid measures were comprehensive including the laminated menus being cleaned before each use. I had the fish finger sandwich. The fish fingers were larger than usual and properly cooked. I had a flat white coffee which was ok but if coffee is important to you, I'd get one elsewhere. Overall, very pleased with the lunch, the service and the location.
