We're regular visitors to this site and, as always, had a great time. Toilets and showers spotlessly clean. Friendly and very helpful staff also made this an enjoyable weekend.
Well located, just a short walk into town and the seafront. Shops and takeaways also nearby. Very friendly welcome. Nice level pitches. Good facilities block. Brittania Inn, a short walk away, is perfect.
Just spent a couple of days and again the standard is high, the club has got a real gem here!nnWe spent both days walking the main beach and town which the camp site is actually part of…, it was originally a quarry!nnIts a short 20 minute walk to reach the beach and the view is worth the walk with its wide open bay, long sprawling sandy beach and Esplanade with its limited access points reminds me of banjo’s - there is one eye sore to some but for others it’s fun, Butlin’s Minehead with Splash World!nnRecommend the Old Ship Aground at the harbour, Quay Street West a visit for lunch along with a local South West Coast Start Monument which identifies the start both westwards and eastwards paths start point.nnPlenty of local and National shops make up a tree lined Parade Street/The Avenue leading to West Somerset Railway station where you can relive the age of Steam transport as it carries you back to the early 20th century Steam railways!nnAll in it was both a surprise and well thought out place catering for the visitor and their families looking for that traditional bucket and spade holiday - the the rest of us worth a couple of days visit!nnThe People are helpful and clearly know what they are doing to provide everything most will want plus our pets can also enjoy the place with their owners…, all in all worth the time to travel those windy slow roads from the M5 at Taunton!
Nice quiet site ideally location a short walk into the town with shops and take aways very close by. Recommend Britannia Inn 10 mins walk away
