Brilliant public place for a day visit. Signage could be slightly better. The Aquatics Centre was absolutely fabulous. Very envious of the residents of Stratford having such a fantastic facility, especially in these days of council enforced closure of swimming pools.
Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park is a fantastic spot to visit, offering a great mix of history, nature, and modern design. The park is beautifully landscaped, with plenty of green spaces, waterways, and walking trails. It's the perfect place for a leisurely stroll or a bike ride, with lots of areas to explore. The Olympic legacy is still alive here, with iconic venues like the London Stadium and the Aquatics Centre open for visitors. Whether you're looking to relax, enjoy outdoor activities, or soak in some Olympic history, it's a great spot for all ages. Playground: That was great
Went to see London Lions basketball team. Cheap tickets, £13.50, and that wasn't the cheapest tier. Why isn't the place full? I can't understand it. If we we're locals, we'd be there every game for sure. Hint for the organisers - give away the spare tickets to the local schools and fill the place each game. The atmosphere would be electric, I'm sure. Wow, wonderful experience. Worth the 2-3 hour travel and over night stay.
Very interesting walk through the Park, with a fabulous recent history. However, some areas a bit scruffy now, lots of scope to highlight what went on 12 years ago, but the opportunity has not been taken. However, lots of activity and people taking advantage of being in the sun
Me and my son were here yesterday for the Foo Fighters concert. I've never been here before but was very impressed. It is very easy to get into the stadium, and once you get in there, the facilities are excellent. Lots of places to get food and drinks from, Lots of toilet facilities too. Oh, and the Foo Fighters were absolutely incredible, so an all-around amazing day
A really great space, several walking option around the green spaces and river. A few food vans along the way providing drinks and quick food options. Places to stop and rest plus kids play areas. Playground: Lots of different play equipment and seating areas to keep everyone happy.
Amazing feet of architecture and design. Just a shame as I bet this was amazing during the Olympics. Still an absolute sight to see considering this is still London and how everything was reused.
Great place to take the kids! Lots of things to do , there’s a sand pit , slide . Lots of place to have picnics, relax , enjoy , even deck chairs to watch on a big screen!!! There’s a cafes, lots to eat and explore!! Playground: Little playgrounds everywhere , near the flats , the park is also good to play Restrooms: Are ok near the cafe, a bit messy , but ok Dog-friendliness: I haven’t seen that many dogs ! But the ones I have seen are well behaved. Just walking with their owners. Picnic area: People are sitting anywhere in the greenery area ,there’s lots of places where I can sit .
Love this park!! It’s perfect for a dog walk/a picnic. Not when you wanna do a few rounds to get your daily steps in, but definitely worth the visit. Dog-friendliness: Perfect for dogs Picnic area: Lot of green space for blankets
Stunning park for all sorts of activities! Absolute gem in East London, totally recommended a visit for a walk with good or lovely bycicle ride. Good amenities and connections to public transport
