Beautiful, simple gardens enclosed on 3 side my the in and the fourth by a dark brick wall. The gardens are private and have limited access between 1200 and 1430. A wonderful place to escape central London and enjoy the aesthetic architecture. Great all year round.
Nice peaceful garden to stroll through at lunchtime. Bring a picnic with you. Be great in the Summer
Historic tree-lined gravel 'Walks' are well maintained with gently sloping lawns and a touch of bedding all under the watch of "The Master Of The Walks' for a limited period around lunch time. No dogs or cycling permitted. Good spot for a moments respite though frolicking and gambolling about would be frowned upon.
fantastic greeen area in the busy central London ideal for a small pause to read a book, chillout or just to think about the life far away from the stressful sounds of the city.
Quiet little oasis away from the noise of Holborn. Lush place to chomp a sammich
Great spot to take your weekday lunch or for a weekend picnic. Plenty of space to sit on the grass with some tables as well. As mentioned elsewhere, this is a private park so it does close early and is sometimes closed for private events but it's still a great place to escape the hustle and bustle of central London!
Excellent green space with very well maintained grass. Perfect for eating your take-away lunch perhaps bought from nearby awesome Leather Lane food market, but beware, as it's a private gardens, it's only open to the public for a few hours at lunch and they will ask you to leave if you're having a late lunch. Check their website for details.
Great park for a sunny lunchtime. There are plenty of benches, but if they are full then the beautifully manicured grass is there for all to use. Recently there has been a pop-up restaurant appear, which looks nice, albeit a bit pricey.
Great park for a lunch break. Recommended
A lovely place for a picnic in the summer, nice and open and surprisingly large, you can choose to perch on a bench, on the grass, or on a grass bank to one side. Because this is a private park and not a common there are a few rules that should be followed, but if you make extra sure you're considerate for things like cleaning up and keeping on your best behaviour all should be fine.
