Jubilee Gardens, located on the South Bank of the Thames in London, is a beautifully landscaped public park that offers a peaceful retreat amidst the bustling city. Originally created in 1977 to mark the Queen's Silver Jubilee, the gardens underwent a major renovation in 2012, adding lush lawns, vibrant flower beds, and modern seating areas. The park's prime location provides stunning views of the London Eye and the Houses of Parliament. It's an ideal spot for picnics, leisurely strolls, and enjoying the lively atmosphere of the South Bank. Jubilee Gardens is a perfect blend of natural beauty and urban convenience, making it a must-visit for locals and tourists alike.
A nice green space just next to the crowded place of Londoneye. You can see a lot of tourists having coffee, nibbles or relax after long walk. Not a bad place just missing couple of benches.
Jubilee Gardens offers a welcome respite from the bustling London crowds. Its well-manicured lawns, colorful flower beds, and mature trees create a serene atmosphere. The playground is a fantastic addition, keeping the little ones entertained while adults relax. While it may not be as grand as some of London's other green spaces, Jubilee Gardens' convenient location and pleasant ambiance make it a worthwhile visit.
Well kept and spacious area to sit and take in the view of the London Eye and the Thames. It gets very busy when the weather is nice, and even more so during the holidays with so many tour and school groups. Lots of nearby places to get a takeaway beer or cheaper pop to M&S around the corner
A beautiful small park, between Waterloo Station and the Embankment, a great place to relax, before summoning up the courage to spend large sums of money on the Embankment attractions.
Day or night, the Jubilee Gardens is a beautiful place. I like how it complements the London Eye experience and one of the best locations to get perfect pictures of the London Eye. Gorgeous!
Had a lovely time visiting here today to see the Pokemon Poké Post in London. Despite the heavy rain, many people turned up to visit the Pokémon Poké Post. The queues were long, but the atmosphere was great! The staff were really friendly and helpful!
We have enjoyed passing through this area many times as our train brings us in to Waterloo station. There are always entertainers, food vendors and all kinds of things to observe in the area. Theres some green space and an outdoor playscape that would suit almost any age of child. Its a pleasant place to chill, recharge, take a breath and even enjoy some food and live music. Its usually busy due to its location near many attractions, but theres always somewhere to take a minute and a great place to be whilst you decide what to take in next. Its different every time we visit depending on the season, but we always pause here to enjoy the view.
A good place just to sit down and relax and enjoy the view of The London Eye and River Thames. An iconic place as well to get a great shot with The London Eye as well. Got to visit during sundown and the sky added a great ambience to take pictures around the area. The place can get a little too crowded at times.
A very nice park next to the London Eye. There is also a play area for the little ones. My 5 year old daughter enjoyed playing there with all the other kids. It does get busy in the afternoons so the morning is probably the best time to visit to allow your child more options to play on the structures there. There is also a grassy area and if you want to sit or picnic there, the best time to grab a spot is also in the morning as it is extremely busy in the afternoon.
