A public park since 1924 with the A21 bisecting and separating a segment. A spread of well maintained sports facilities in excellent state of repair, a café, playground and an array of mature trees including a magnificent Turkey Oak. A dearth of formal bedding and plants perhaps result in a mild sense of enervation and lack of distinctive identity here. NOTE : access here to the meadows, hedgerows and woodland of the Arrandene Open Space - now here’s something really worthwhile.

Small pathways not enough space to walk. Dog poo everywhere. Never again
