Great place to come for the deers with the children. The are very friendly and come up to the fence for some veggies if you bring them.
Beautiful any time of year and absolutely free! Space for children to run and play, build a fort with fallen branches paddle in the stream, feed the deer or have a picnic. Ideal place for a long peaceful walk or sit quietly and admire the views.
Large area of natural unkempt woodland and open spaces with the Lake being the central focus populated with wildfowl. Lots of baby deer in fenced enclosure, children love to feed them. Easy to get lost if you wander off the main paths so use your GPS.
Varying habitats including grassland, horse, wetlands the small artificial Summerhouse lake and an ancient woodland remnant. The grasslands/flower meadow sloping gently uphill, northwards, a habitat counting rare and uncommon species and accordingly designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest. A summers delight; a variety of grasses swathing over the gentle slopes, splashes of colourful flowers, insects, birds and butterflies abound. All surrounded by wood/wetland, a deer enclosure and a mighty oak. Reasonable access here for the more sedentary.
Large lake with a walking trail around it Peaceful and serene
A great circular walk with fantastic views
Very nice place to go for a walk and see the deers.
We a very pleasant walk around the lake and saw a fox. The Master Oak is truly inspiring. The light was not the best for the picture. My daughter is at the base of the tree !
What an amazing experience. It’s like Narnia, you can get lost in there very easily.
Nice area of quite natural parkland with an atmospheric lake, beautiful bluebells in season and a deer park. See the 'Master Oak' said to be the oldest tree in Middlesex
