They get my order wrong every time whether it’s only a single patty or the customised ingredients I have removed due to allergies.nnNormally I wouldn’t bother with a review but this is a persistent issue at this establish.nCHECK YOUR ORDER BEFORE LEAVING!!!!
For a McDonald’s this was really good, food was freshly made to order so nice and hot, didn’t feel like it was waiting around at all, staff were friendly and the interior was very clean. Nice atmosphere for a McDonald’s, mainly hikers. Food was nice, good parking and good location. Good stop over point in the highlands.
Nice an d warm inside with free toilet and free WiFi
I visited with my wife and two children 8 and 10. We ordered at the machine and were served quickly and efficiently, my order was correct and accurate and the assistant even asked if I needed extra sauces.nThere was a courteous lady constantly cleaning tables and emptying left overs in the bin.nThe food was as expected at McDonald’s addictive, tasty yet knowingly unhealthy yum I hope to have walked a few calories of on the mountains.nThe only negative is that a little more seating could be provided.
So after climbing Ben Nevis and feeling like heroes or at least sweaty, hungry hikers, my son decided McDonald’s was the best reward. The car park wasn’t too bad, but stepping inside was like walking into rush hour at a chip shop. Clearly, this is where half of Scotland stops off on their travels.nnOrdering on the screens was easy enough – no dramas there – and the food didn’t take long, which was good because I was about ready to eat my own arm. Standard McDonald’s food: not gourmet, but it hit the spot.nnNow for the fun part… finding a seat. That was like a game of musical chairs, except when the music stops you’re sitting on a table with someone else’s leftover fries staring at you. The place definitely needed a bit more TLC – rubbish on the floor, food on tables, and the bins working overtime.nnAnd because the sun decided to be at full blast, the restaurant basically turned into a greenhouse. No blinds, no shades, just full-on “McSweaty” vibes. Add in a bunch of flies buzzing about like they’d paid for a Happy Meal and yeah… not the most relaxing atmosphere.nnAll that said, food was fine, hunger was gone, and at least it gave us a laugh. Just needs less rubbish, fewer flies, and maybe some sunglasses and bug spray on the menu.
