No complaints about the food, although a bit pricey, or about the drinks or service. The table layout left a lot to be desired. Most of the restaurant was made up of closely packed 2 seat rectangular tables, with the seats at the ends of the rectangle. Multiple tables are lined up side by side with a small gap in between.This meant that holding a conversation was almost impossible unless we considerably raised our voices. Added to that was recorded music playing. We notice others were dining in silence unable to converse. This is the first restaurant we have been to where the person at the next table sits literally shoulder to shoulder with you closer than your dining partner. Clearly the tables are packed together to maximise the space available. All in all a very impersonal experience. We left after the main course disappointed.

Varied menu. We had the chicken supreme...very tasty. Warm and comfortable atmosphere. Great value with 2 for 1 mains. Staff welcoming.

A good place to grab a light bite / lunch. The menu is extensive and will cater for any taste. The place has a good cocktail menu and even a festive cocktail menu! The English Garden cocktail was delicious. The food portions were a good size, good value for money and the staff were really friendly. The Tavern was filled with locals which is always a good sign of the place to be! Would recommend.

Cosy place with some nice food. The noodles in the fried samon dish were really tasty. Also tried lamp, not the best but good enough. Especially when they applied 2 for 1 main dishes, the value was unbeatable if you had a company dining with you.
