Everyone here is so friendly, first off. We came here twice during our four day trip and as soon as we walked in the second time, were greeted with a “welcome back!” and they even knew where we sat and when we were last there, asked how our Christmas was. So friendly and welcoming! Service is amazing and so attentive. The food has been incredible both times. We had the festive menu on Christmas Eve and it was amazing; ala carte the next time on Boxing Day. The inside is so cozy and welcoming. I 100% recommend to anyone, this place was a hit every time.
steak and ale pie SO yummy mashed potatoes so warm and buttery and smooth absolutely perfect roasted carrots so sweet and delish beef in pie SUPER tendernice cream honey oats whisky cream dessert is SO delicious…extra creamy, sweet but not cloyingly sweet and EXTRA satisfyingnliterally devoured everything see pics for proof nALSO!! the staff were so welcoming & warm & thoughtful…one of them asked us if we were rushing and was so considerate of our timing constraints and another was very patient when we were asking questions abt their beers also so refreshingnplus toilets super clean all around amazing pls come here
Great sunday lunch but expensive 19.95 for beef yp and veg ordered pudding would return for mains. But puddings I had the trio of desserts looked yummy phil had apple pie and vegan icecream phil had a real good size mine were well no bigger than a 2 pence peices no offer of cream or icecream just 3 tiny tiny desserts first was a strawberry cheesecake 2nd was a I mouthful choc cup and the 3rd one was toffee caramel thing again one bite and gone I did ask was that it he asked me to repeat so I once again said is that it he mumbled and walked away I asked for the bill and the uncharming woman said you had a problem with desserts well darling what did you expect after all it was 3 desserts on one plate but I have given you some money off for your disappointment and if you look at the bill I have only charged you £7.71 I think that is fair dont you mr hubby and carried on talking to my husband and staring at me she tried to imtimadate us but it didnt work whole bill with 1 glass of white wine spritzer and a can of ginger beer 2 mains 1 lge pudding at £10.95 and my trio of desserts £11.50 but with £4 pound off £7.71 came to a total of £71.84 would i return yes but only for a drink way over priced food although my hubby would be happy to return for sunday lunch again as he said that was worth the money and I do agree with him but desserts no chef fab sunday lunch thank you it was yummy
Lovely pub in the heart of Fort William with amazing food and service! Staff where great and gave us lots of tourist reccomentations! Great offer of a light bites menu! They also have a private booth like the Harry Potter train!
Had the best lunch here !nGot the chicken, cranberry pie with chips, my friend got the mushroom one.nThe cheesecake & Apple crumble were delicious.nLovely service ! 10/10 would totally come back
