This cozy and well-decorated place in Fort William offers a nice lil menu of delicious food. What sets it apart is their selection of gluten free and dairy free options. Its by the street, so you can enjoy your food with a view of the old cobbled street.
£70 for 2 mains and 2 soft drinks. Might be the best in this town. Sadly, mussels had been sold out so we planned to come again. Two girl waitresses are really sweet and patient, but find it really hard to communicate with male waiter. Locals are not as friendly as in other countries such as Australia and the United States.
Been there at 5.30pm on Monday, waited for 30mins for a table. The sea bass tastes good and fresh but fish portion is small. The sweet potato and salad is a good balance of the dish, a healthy pick if comparing to fish and chips. Some people detour to the Ben Nevis Bar and Restaurant for dinner right opposite, instead of standing outside to wait for the table, where is in high rating as well. The staff are friendly and caring. It didn’t take long for the dishes to serve.
We had dinner there a few days ago and it was absolutely delicious!nnWe share two starters which were mussels and haggis. For mains we had the venison stew and the sea bass, I couldn’t finished the stew because it was a big plate so we had it to take away.nnThe plates are well served and the quality of the ingredients is excellent. The venison was so tender and tasty. We loved all our dishes and definitely will be back on our next visit to Fort William.nThe service is excellent too, it is expensive but it is worth, we expend £69.50 for two persons.
We travelled to Highlands yesterday and found this restaurant randomly. The food is really good! We had five dishes with a drink and cost 70 pound which is not expensive. The service is really good. We accidentally dropped our umbrella in the restaurant. The owner contacted back promptly and sent our stuffs to our hotel.nnReally appreciate the service and the food is really good as well. Highly recommend people go there if traveling to highland.
