Dog friendly downstairs but not up in the restaurant, although they do serve food downstairs. I was a little disappointed with the food options, looking for gluten free. Staff said I could have a pie with no pastry top or some nachos. Chips are not gluten free as they are flour coated curly fries. :-( I ended up asking for chicken breast with salad, which was expensive for what it was. Maybe that's par for the course in Fort William these days though. The bar was better as there were a few decent drinks to choose from - beers and whisky. It was busy when we were there and it was a struggle to get a table in the bar but some nice people have us theirs. There was a mixed crowd - families, tourists and locals, which was nice, and everyone we spoke to was friendly. I was just disappointed with the food.

Fantastic bar!! The food is great and locally produced (you have to try the venison pie!) and a great selection of local beers and great single malts.

Staff not very friendly up stairs in the restaurant got asked "Table for two ? Take this menu table on the right at the back". Looked at the menu after finding our own table. To fine the menu not very good .

Good beer and whisky, nice crowd. Probably your best bet for a quiet pint in central Fort William, and the food is decent for the price. There were a fair few climbers/walkers in when I was there, and it's certainly more relaxing than the Volunteer or the Wetherspoons!

Just ok...Interesting menu offerings with mundane results. Management seems to be more interested in trying to snatch up 1x tourist attention, not follow through. Servers on the grumpy side, not limited to, but especially the one who was doing double duty and doing all the heavy lifting for the preggers gal. She was borderline rude (and I'm sure, feeling overworked), and we chose not to order dessert because of her.
