Hi If it's not the best fish and chips around here, I would love to know where it is, I have had a lovely meal every time I have been, and I have been going for years . Every time we go, we have had great fish and chips and would recommend it highly to anyone.nThe restaurant is always worth going to as the staff are very friendly service is very good and enjoy the atmosphere so if you want to have good fish and chips takeaway or in the restaurant I would recommend going here child friendly and kids meals are good value for your money
I ordered cod and a small portion of chips, it comes with complimentary pickles and bread and butter. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and the food was served quickly, our order arrived hot and not greasy, the fish was gorgeous and had crispy batter. The restaurant was clean and so was the toilet. The woman's bathroom had one cubicle it was large and accessible with hand rails and a low sink for wheelchair users. The price for my meal and drink was £18.36 but it was well worth the money I was full for hours. 10/10
Infrequently visit due to the long distance but on this rare occasion so happy to see that the Standards have been kept high . This is the BEST fish and chips in London and contender for top 10 in UK. Fish is fresh , chips are perfectly cooked , service is homely and prices are reasonable for 2024. I treasure this place dearly.
Just the best fish and chips anywhere. Great service and always so accommodating. Yes, it's a little more than some however I would rather eat that quality of food over anything else available. WELL DONE
It's fantastic, best cod n chips in south London. I've been going for years. It's rammed on Friday and Saturday nights. Queues and 15-20 mins waiting. Car Park gets full. It's one of the few places I go to where I put up with all the inconvenience to get a table in the restaurant for high-quality fish n chips. I love the homemade mushy peas. a portion should be bigger in my view. I think they should stop with the plastic bags environmentally poor. The paper bags are fine, thick, and sturdy. The quality of the fish is unbeatable and worth £10.
