Food really was great and satisfying. Well cooked and presented. Well worthy of the certificates of excellence displayed on the walls inside and our party of six will happily return. Some reviews say they come a distance to eat here and it is clear to see why. Compliments to the team both at the front of house and behind the scenes.
We went in late on a Saturday night and were the only two diners so unfair to comment on atmosphere. There was background music which helped. Food was served quickly and was very tasty. My lamb was very tender. I was concerned about eating late but the portions were not over sized and I could finish mine and not be uncomfortable after. I would recommend this place.
We went and used a taste card and ordered Tandori mixer grill it was very disappointing. We had that dish many times before so we knew it wasn't right. If you can not cater for customers with taste card please remove from your offer. We had scraps of meat and burned bits covered with boiled potato and onions. Not happy at all. We will not get back there!!!!!
Wonderful evening out with the family again. We travel quite a distance to come here as the food is out of this world and the hospitality is so welcoming and pleasant. They went out of their way to create a booking for us and we were not disappointed. Please bring cash or use the cash machine in the nearby petrol station. I use a tastecard and always leave a tip as the food is wonderful and the service just right. It would seem rude to get such magic at the price quoted.
Excellent service good hospitality great food the best in town highly recommended always makes you very welcome. Be back soon my best friend wants to try it also. Thanks again to all the Team at Amera Rani
Lovely local restaurant. Staff are always friendly, polite, and welcoming. Atmosphere relaxing and clean. Good quality reasonably priced food. Would recommend. We go regularly and have takeaway deliveries as well. We're never disappointed.Food: 5/5
Parking across the road , friendly staff , great prices and amazing food . Very tasty and well prepared curries . Amazing discount deals available including the tastecard . A regular of mine for sure . Top notch . حلال
Originally gave 4 stars, but can't remember why. Foods always lovely, staff always friendly. Cheap, good portion sizes. Rarely seems to be many people inside, seem to mostly do takeaway, but definitely the best in the area for Indian.Food: 5/5
Amera Rani is a little treasure in a very unexpected location in South Croydon. I have now been a number of times with friends and family and have recommended it to most people I know; I'm delighted when they feed back to me that they agree! These guys have got it spot on! The food is superb and the service is excellent. Keep up the good work.
Very very little food for the overall cost this can not be understated! Food quality was also painfully average. Businesses are always doomed when you scrimp and scrape on costs. Word of mouth is important and returning customers are important. Very disappointing and I likely won’t go back.Food: 1/5
