The young man with a beard and woman laura were nice enough too get the queue moving with 8 customers waiting. Yet the 2 50ish year old women working to stock shelves were swearing unnecessarily. Wasn't impressed by their work manor
Terrible experience. Tills are always broken. Staff always short. Huge queues. Profit put before service. Won't come again.
Great little shop supporting the local community and beyond. Lovely bakery serving freshly baked produce from cookies to chicken nuggets. Also has a very well supported post office as well. Wide range of products on display with plenty of parking too.
Just had a hospital visit at bury st edmunds called in morrisons daily to get nice pack of fresh doughnuts to have at home with cup of tea very disappointed to find then stale and hard with today's date on disappointed won't be going back there again
Miserable staff and empty shelves. 1 lad working and the rest out the back! No different to when it was cost cutter. Last resort shop! I hate having to come here. Be glad when Tesco express is refurbished.
The shop has been brilliant during the recent months. They always have good range of items and the shelves well stocked. Staff are friendly and polite. Darren, the manager, has a wonderful community spirit and has done so much for the residents of the estate. All the staff deserve praise and recognition for all they have done during the lockdown. Thank you all.
Under the new management the shop has been invaluable. The team have done an amazing job turning around it around and it continues to improve all the time. My only complaint - the reason it gets 4 rather than 5 stars, is that it could use some more free from products, I'd love to be able to pop down for a pint of oatly milk just like I can a normal one.
Dreadful service at 2pm today Tuesday 2 August. One chap dealing with PO items with three members of staff standing close to the checkouts chatting and grumbling. They could see I was waiting to be served but ignored me. I had to ask if someone was free to serve me and they said they thought Joe was - Joe being the chap dealing with the PO items and the only one actually doing anything. He came across to serve me and left the other three chatting. I won’t be returning
Edited from my previous review as a McColls. The change from McColls to Morrisons Daily happened a couple of months ago now. My first visit immediately after was poor, so I gave them a couple of months to improve before revisiting to review. The previously dated interior of McColls has been slightly updated, new fascia, shelving and fridges replacing the rather untidy old look. Unfortunately, this seems to be "lipstick on a pig" as the store standards and availability have remained as poor, if not worse. A sign on the door advertising for staff should have given me some idea of what to expect. Empty shelves, delivery I could see the stock to fill the shelves on cages on the floor with no attempt by staff to fill the shelves. Huge queues at the till and post office with one poor chap rushing between both stations, obviously stressed. The other assistant on the floor seemed blind to both the queue and the stock needing to go out as she continued to scan stuff with her machine for seemingly no purpose. A very poor store. You certainly couldn't drop in for a top up shop. You couldn't be sure to be able to buy anything. Compared to the excellent Tesco Express nearby it's night and day.
The supply of fresh bakery products is appalling. Shelves are always empty and never any baguettes. Except ... Wednesday of this week when there was a mass of bags of donuts with very little prospect of their being sold before date. Staff are very helpful mostly but the lack of an on site manager shows. On many occasions the Post Office is closed. Some improvement in prices for essentials such as milk after the rebranding to Morrison.
